This kit is super easy to install, and the cord length is more than enough (understatement, I had so much extra cord lol). I never used a kit like this before but after watching a YouTube video I installed it with an apeman dash cam (make sure to check if your cam is micro usb or usb c to make sure you get the kit that has the right compatibility ) and it works flawless. The kit is good quality as my dash cam runs 24/7 with no hiccups now. The value is great because if something ever happens to my car I’ll know that it’s been recorded, whether I was in the car or not.

This ended up working out well. I just about returned it at first because I thought it wasn’t working, but it turns out the low-voltage cut off had turned off power to the dash cam. After starting the car and charging the battery up to a higher voltage, the unit works fine. It comes with everything needed, and the fuse taps work well. One negative is the fuses that come with it are pretty cheap and one of them had the pins break off while installing.

I've bought this kit on November 2024 and I was so happy when I got it, it worked just fine and didn't have a problem but exactly today March 8th I've noticed my VIOFO Dashcam stopped working and I was so worried that my Camera was damaged I tested the camera directly to the car's 12V USB charger and worked perfectly I started investigating the issue and after disassembling my car I was able to find out that this hardwire kit was the culprit.So upset I can't even return it because of course they make it work for just 4 months and then it dies.What angers me the most is that by selling you this disposable hardware I had to take my time and effort disassembling the car then put it back on, ordering another hardware kit from other seller and disassembling my car again. So frustrating.UPDATE: After writing this review I was contacted by Plozoe and they sent me a replacement of this hardware kit. It works just like the one I had and I just hope it doesn't stop working again. It is exhausting having to disassemble the pieces of my car and assemble it again and is frustrating specially thinking that it may be broke again. However, I do appreciate Plozoe worrying about customer's satisfaction and I have to take that into consideration while making this review. Plozoe does worry about the customer and that really makes a good impresion on the company. I will leave my review at 4 stars and will stay like that. In case anything happens I'll update this review.

Initially after installing my kit i had an issue where there was no power going to the car that i installed the kit onto, make sure you plug in both fuses or you'll have the same power issue as i did. I don't remember seeing instructions for that anywhere, so the install isnt completely idiot-proof.I liked that the kit includes a plastic tool for popping panels and fixtures off so i didnt have to buy a separate one, also the kit has multiple fuses and adapters so you likely have what you need.The only thing i can complain about is that the included fuse was not the right amps for what i needed, i had to get a kit with one that was the right size and amps for my particular install, this may be specific to my car though.

Sucks, does not maintain a steady power supply to camera when car starts, connected directly to battery, when car starts it draws massive power causing a slight voltage drop for a second, tis looses power and causes the camera to reboot. This doesn't deworm good for cars with autostart stop feature, that's when accidents happen.....having to purchase a different one and run new cable,

This is what you need to install your dash cam hard wired. Comes with 2 each of various fuse sizes, means that it will fit on your vehicle.The video I learned how to install these is “ChrisFix” and his video is the easiest to understand. You may need a voltmeter but that’s like $10 at any Walmart or harbor freight etc.
