I will say the *only* complaint I have is that the phone attachment is a little small, which requires me to remove my waterproof phone case to use it. Otherwise my phone won't fit. My case is a bit difficult and involved to get off and put on again.However! The tool functions precisely as I had hoped it would. It attaches neatly on the ledge of the desk and holds there stably. I have it up currently, but keep it attached as I do commission work for art and often need to take pictures to send to clients.- The light is nice and bright and can be directed with ease due to the posable neck.- The phone attachment does make it a tad challenging to see if everything is aligned properly. (I would take a picture of this, but my phone is my only camera. If the company is open to suggestion: perhaps this slight issue could be solved with a sturdy yet see-through plastic?)- All the parts seem well constructed and sturdy. Hopefully this will last a long time!- There's no shakiness or instability, at least not yet. (With continued use, it will likely gain wear, but that's the way of things.)I do recommend this product and give it a very solid 4.5/5 or 9/10. :) Great tool for artists!

Pretty easy to assemble and use. The design is great for all kinds of angles and works great with my phone. I have no experience with lighting, but the ring light included wasn’t great. Overall, I still love this mount!

The light feels like an afterthought - the light attachment is weird and not great and it burned out after less than two months of being used a couple times a week. As far as I can tell, there is no way to replace the led lights. But the overhead mount has been great. It was easy to put together, is fairly sturdy, and does just what I need to film my overhead art videos (I used additional external lights). I could see buying something more robust in the future, but this was a good purchase minus the light.

Assembly was easy for me. The unit is quite sturdy and very adjustable. The light has different bright levels as well several color choices from white, yellow tint and blue tint.I read the bad reviews and this is not flimsy or low quality. If I paid twice as much for it, I would still be happy.

I read the reviews before purchasing this and again I am wondering how we can get such a difference of opinion for the star rating. I watched a lengthy video review and cannot figure out how the man filming got it set up quickly with no wiggling when filming.I watched the videos and was able to set it up quickly including attaching the ring. Then began two weeks of trying it on three different tables, having someone stronger tighten the bolts, and yet, my camera fell out every time and brought the whole thing tumbling down. It either fell off the desk completely or I watched it slowly collapsing before it fell over sideways.My cell phone was obviously too heavy for it as well as too thick for it to be held securely in the mounting bracket. So, I switched to a Samsung A13, a much lighter phone and it stayed in place better but after a few minutes, it wiggled, wobbled, and as I tried to catch it the arms slowly sank to the desk. Defective? I don't think so, maybe just cheaply made.I returned it and bought one with a wider and deeper mount as shown in the photo with the red box around it, and the ruler shows the difference in size to accommodate different model phones. The mounting piece that holds your phone is the most important fact determining whether this will work for you. The second is will the arms stay stretched to the height and spread you need to film without wobbling. I saw so many five star ratings I was determined to set it up and have it be five stars from me as well, but I can’t in good conscience do so. It did not work for me.

For the price, this is a really good little gadget! I'm using it to make coloring book videos. It's easy to assemble and dis-assemble. It's not super heavy, and it's versatile.
