Works well; good value
This switch is just what I needed for doing precision work with my scroll saw. The spring action is just right. It's well made and takes seconds to hook up and seconds to unplug if I want to use the saw without it.

Super Helpful
This is a game changer if you have a light or something that plugs in behind a large piece of furniture. We have twinkle lights that plug in behind our bed and they could only be turned off/on with a remote, which quickly turned into a rage inducing exercise trying to get the lights to do what you want without crawling under the bed. This extension has made it so easy to turn on the light with your foot or turn it off super easily at night. No more crawling under the bed or anything. It was just the right amount of length but also isn’t overly bulky. The button also has good tactile feedback so you know when you clicked it on/off, no bumping it and potentially turning something off.

Switch to this switch, and you’ll be glad you did.
What I thought might be an insubstantial product that I would probably throw away after I finished my cleanup project, turned out to be a very sturdy tool. I had about 250 old prescription bottles collected over years past that I needed to remove or obliterate before recycling them. The labels were difficult to remove y my old method of filling the bottles with hot water and then peeling the label off and adding it to a stack of old labels and the recapping the bottles and throwing them into a big garbage bag. Slow and tedious. But since the labels were designed to be compatible with the heat printing printers I figured that I could just heat the whole label still on the bottles and just recycle them with blacked out labels still attached. I got out my heat gun and started. Good idea, bad process. I would turn on the heat gun, heat/obliterate the label, turn off the heat, check the label for thoroughness of damage, throw in garbage bag, grab another bottle, and ….you know - wash rinse repeat. After about the first twenty five bottles or so my trigger finger was raw from the tight stiff slide switch. Rethink the process; I’d done something similar with a sanding job with my belt sander months ago with an inline switch. Good process, still could be better. Maybe a foot switch like for my Christmas tree lights. Foun one on Amazon Prime that was momentary on while foot pressed pedal. Eureka!!! Finished job in one sitting. Didn’t burn out the heat gun, didn’t lose a finger or two, no major burn’s from heat gun or hot bottles. Now had two empty bins to fill up. Just the thing for my extension cords. One of the best purchases recently. And the switch? Worked positively great, and hardly a scratch or over stressed spring. Now looking for some other project for this switch.

Lightweight switch
Seems to work well. This switch is very lightweight. It needs to be mounted to a heavier base. Otherwise you will be always chasing it around thr floor as it will be upside down or out of position.

Very useful
Does exactly what it should, helps for use of drill press and other power tools.

Improves safety when used with power tools.
Smaller than I expected it to be but it works well to free up both hands when using my drill press. Some times a drill bit may bind in a part that you are holding down by hand. Releasing it to turn off the drill press risks having the part spinning dangerously until it stops. With this switch you simply release the foot pedal and continue holding the part until the drill stops.

Works great!!
I bought this to use with a semi home made piston ring grinder. (IYKYK) I used an old corded drill and a tie strap on the trigger to get the same speed every time. But that meant I just had to leave it plugged in and running while I checked the gap, OR unplug it every time. Neither is a great option. THIS IS. I have one hand on the feed and one hand moving the ring across the face of the grinder. Having the on / off under my foot is a game-changer.

Reliable Safety Companion
I recently incorporated a Normally Off Deadman Switch into my woodworking setup, specifically for fractal wood burning. The Normally Off Deadman Switch is designed for safety, requiring a press and hold action to turn it ON. This design ensures that power is cut off immediately when released, minimizing the risk of accidents. The simplicity of its operation adds an extra layer of safety to my fractal burning that deals with large amounts of electricity. Despite its affordable price and a feeling that it might be cheaply made, I was pleasantly surprised by its durability. This switch has proven to be robust and has withstood exposure to outdoor elements. It has remained functional even after being subjected to various weather conditions, proving its resilience in outdoor settings. For fractal wood burning, the Normally Off Deadman Switch has become an essential safety tool. Its design allows me to maintain precise control over the tool, ensuring that power is only supplied when intentionally held down. This level of control is crucial for intricate and delicate wood burning techniques, contributing to a safer working environment. The primary advantage of this switch is the added layer of safety it provides. The deadman function ensures that power is immediately cut off if the switch is released unexpectedly. This feature has become a crucial aspect of my woodworking routine, giving me peace of mind and reducing the risk of accidents. In conclusion, the Normally Off Deadman Switch might feel a bit basic or inexpensive, but its durability and safety features make it a reliable choice. It has proven to be a durable companion in outdoor conditions and a crucial safety tool for activities like fractal wood burning. If you're looking for a cost-effective solution with a focus on safety, this switch is a practical and dependable option.

Would be better if the input and output cables entered at the same hole, or at most within 90° of each other? Having the input and output at 180° presumes this is going to be installed in-line, which I think is unlikely.

All of sudden, I smelled and found it is burning. My thumb is burned. Do not use it for heavy duty work.
