👀 First impressionsFirst impressions were “wow, that looks cheap” and I am unwilling to cut a hole in my kitchen table to try this thing out as I’m not overly convinced that it’ll last.The first thing I noticed was that the USB-c port was not aligned true to the casing - this is a little off-putting. It is lightweight and quite deep for what it is - and the unit itself is entirely sealed making any potential repairs/repositioning impossible.It is powered by a 2port charger via a standard 3 pin plug.In order to cut a hole in a table for this I would suggest a 64mm holesaw as my 60mm Bosch holesaw would make fitting very tight. In order to keep this in position I would probably use something like silicone to ensure it stays steady whilst in use. Part of me was expecting some spring type mechanism to hold this in position, a bit like you get with halogen bulb fittings… but no. So silicone or similar would appear to be the only other real option.The charger allows usb-a and a usb-c charging options. - but the quality is questionable in my mind and I have doubts about the longevity of the item.ℹ️ What/When will it be used?Charging items from a fixed position that will run off a USB-A or USB-c charger. This would mean cutting a hole or having one already in place on a desk or table etc🎯 Who is it targeted at?Just about everyone - everyone uses devices that are USB charged nowadays. I am tempted to pop this into a cheap bedside table to see how it holds up and I can also see this on some desk somewhere… it’s convenient and if your desk has “brushed slots” in place then that’ll help to keep things neat and tidy.📦 How is it Packaged - What’s it made from?Packaging is as basic as it gets - the item arrives with a charger and instructions which are loose in a brown cardboard box. Literally dropped in and free to move around. Box is fully recyclable and as it is unmarked it could be repurposed.✅ What do I like about this product?I suppose it has a nice chrome outer ring and the rest of it is made from a black plastic. There isn’t really a lot to like or dislike about this product - it’s fairly basic and there isn’t a lot to it.❌ What could be better?The port for the USB-C charging point wasn’t aligned correctly on my product - which didn’t fill me with confidence about the quality of the item. It feels poor quality but I can see how many would find it useful.🤝 Summary…A cheap looking and cheap feeling product which will allow you to charge from 2 different cables simultaneously. Item is very lightweight and has a simplistic design.Sadly - the build quality didn’t leave me with too much confidence in the product itself - although upon testing both ports do actually work.Packaging was in keeping with the product itself. No frills and functional - just. Not really a “giftable” item in my mind.I hope you found this review helpful.

As I don't use the cable management hole on this particular desk then it was a bit of a wasted space .....NOT NOW !! ... This is great .... So easy to fit . Just remove the old Blanking plate from the desk Feed the small end of the plug up through the hole . Plug it into the back of the unit & then push it back down onto the desk ... It may be a tight fit, Just use the palm of your hand to gently & evenly push it into the desk hole.Once done plug it into the nearest socket & Voila !!I'm happy & I have a nice neat permanent USB Supply to hand on my desk ... Under £20 it's a no brainer !!Hope this helps .....
