This is a beautiful journal and I have no quibble with the workmanship; my only issue is probably my own fault. I failed to check that the paper was cartridge paper (I was too busy trying to ensure that it didn’t have lines!). That said the paper is fine probably more of a heavy sketch grade than a smooth thick weight. It is fine to write on just not what I was expecting. That said I would possibly buy it again.
