Great album took me back to high school

If you like 80's music you will remember the songs on this album and bop along remembering the summers when these songs were on the radio. They have at least 3 or 4 classics on this album. Always a fun trip down memory lane.

..with this cd.the production on the innocents is great. it's mainly an upbeat album with stories of people and places that make you think outside the box, and not just love songs. erasure's version of river deep mountain high is relentless and as camp as a row of christmas tents.i love all the songs on this. my favourite is weight of the world.

This album has a very religious undertone. The track "Yahoo!" in particular uses terminology associated with a religious sermon. Saying that the tracks "A Little Respect" and "Yahoo!" are brilliant! Very unique singles with a feel good factor. As I`m going to see my favourite band "Erasure" live at the end of the year it`s nice to start collecting these fantastic albums on CD as all my originals were bought on cassette-boo hoo. I can tell the sound is clearer. WOW!Praise "Erasure" indeed! Thanks to the wizard of synth pop Vince Clarke I surely have another valuable gem to add to my CD collection. As usual Andy Bell`s vocals hark that of an Angel. Thanks again guys for bringing a smile to another fan`s face.Bless you x

Had the original tape which was promptly 'eaten' when I tried to play it so bought the cd. Just as good now as it was then.

Decided to go with the CD version after reading reviews on the vinyl. Very pleased.

Ummm. Somewhat disapointed with how this vinyl sounds. Despite it being 180g vinyl, it sounds...well poor. Plenty of real low end bass ( good), but Andys vocals and the top frequencies are muffeled. They need to be more forward. I've compated the sound to the version on Apple music, which has limited bass and forward mids and top. However I note that the Apple version is remastered. So maybe the original mastering was poor? Dunno, but my other Erasure vinyl albums albeit 30 years old sound great.
