The Absolute Best for Post-Surgery Compression!
I would give this 10 stars if I could! This Plus Size Hip Brace Thigh Compression Sleeve has been a lifesaver since my inner thigh lipoma surgery. It provides perfect compression exactly where I needed it, and it stays in place, is comfortable, and breathable throughout the day. My doctor was actually impressed — he had never seen or thought about using one of these for post-surgery recovery, and now he recommends it to his patients! It’s well-made, easy to wear, and really supports the hip, thigh, and hamstring areas without slipping or causing discomfort. Highly recommend for post-surgery recovery, sciatica relief, or anyone needing targeted thigh and hip compression — this device really works!

Awful
This item shipped quickly, but after a few days of wear, it would not stay in place. The belly strap rolled up, and it stretched out to the point where I stopped using it. It always slid down my leg. Comfort was ok, 5 out of 10. Design is ok, 1 out of 10. Durability was awful. 1 out of 10. Support was bad, 1 out of 10. Ease of use, make sure you have 2 people when you put it on.

Needs improvement
It needs extra velcro to hold in place. There is too much play in the thigh compression sleeve due to this. However, It did give me post surgery relief and helped in my healing.

Worked well and helped with back and hip support!
Product fit ( I usually order 2X and I might be able to go down a size), but this one did work well and there is ample space to tighten it up! Wore it for the first time and I had no pain nor did my leg give way for a whole day! Works great as a back brace and comfort of my sciatic nerve on my hip!

This would’ve been better if it were just a bit smaller.
This brace barely worked out due to it being sized a bit larger. There wasn’t a right sized one available at the time. It worked alright because I made it work. The design is real good. It isn’t a design issue. It was just a figment issue. It would be perfect for larger people, but because I am not it had to be made do. I really like the design of this and if it had been closer to my size, would have been perfect. It is comfortable enough. It supports well. The design and build quality are better than others I’ve tried. It’s easy to put on. The Velcro on this is better laid out than others I have tried. Measure yourself and find this in your size as I think this is the best made brace for this purpose.

Not effective!
Overall, I did not find this brace to be affective if you are looking for something for sciatica, piriformous muscle tears or syndrome, or hip surgery. It actually hurts worse to wear it laying down. If you have pain going from sitting to standing, this does not relieve that pain at all, or vice versa going from standing to sitting. If you sit with it on, it cuts at the waist and provides no support for the sciatic nerve. Because there is no support on the piece going down from the hip to the upper leg, there is no relief from any sort of turning, bending, or twisting. I really can't figure out how it offers any support. I am returning it. What I liked: 1. This item was available in an appropriate size. The size chart seems to be very accurate (for the L size.) 2. The waist belt and upper leg strap cinch up tight enough to feel the compression. 3. The material is lightweight and the velcro fasteners are quite strong. What I did not like: 1. No matter how much I tried to tighten it, the lower leg band would never get tight. I even tried angling it upward, but that left gaps and bulges in the brace. 2. The leg portion does not seem to do anything. It actually seemed to hinder walking. 3. The waist band is not wide enough to hit the affected area. It rides above the area. If I move it down to cover the affected area, then the leg portion is too low. Therefore, it does not work for piriformous muscle tears of piriformous syndrome. If you look at the model wearing it, you will see she has it almost at the waist. If you need support for the hip, this does not go that low without dropping the leg part or causing gaps in the material. 4. This can be put on fairly easily by one person, but you have to make sure to have all the velcro undone and begin with the waist band held open. Once the waist is on, you either have to bend to reach the leg straps of lift your leg up onto a bench so you don't have to bend. If you have sciatica, piriformous issues, or recent hip surgery then both the bending at the waist and lifting of the leg is very painful and you will definitely feel uncomfortable putting it on.
