Terra Sparkling Water Maker (White) with CO2, DWS Bottle and Bubly Drop

I was not interested in owning one of these because I have a small kitchen and didn’t need one more thing to find a place for. However, my spouse bought it anyway and once I tried it, I loved it. It is tall and narrow so it uses my limited counter space efficiently; it has no cord to hassle with; it is light weight, and it is very easy and quick to use. It is sitting neatly and unobtrusively in a corner of my kitchen counter under a cabinet near the sink. It’s so easy and quick to use that I don’t avoid using it like I do other small kitchen appliances. The frosting on the cake is that it is saving me money because now I do not buy sparkling water at the grocery store. I have more space in my refrigerator because I don’t have a shelf filled with cans of sparkling water. Also, despite the SodaStream being made from plastic, not going through all those countless cans we were sending out in recycling every week is better for the planet. For your safety, be sure to read the manual about how to use the cartridges properly (it’s not a big deal or hassle to use them correctly). Also read about how to flavor your water if you want to without gumming up the machine (again, not at all difficult). Cartridges last for about 60 bottle fills of the tall bottle marked with a fill line that comes with the SodaStream. It pays to have a couple of extra cartridges on hand so you don’t run out when you really want to use it. I live in a hot climate so I drink a lot of water, but I drink more when it’s carbonated for some reason. Running out of the first cartridge when we first bought this SodaStream sent me back to the grocery store for canned sparkling water while I waited to receive a new cartridge. I have not had this item long enough to attest to its durability, but thus far, I am very happy with it. It’s the best small kitchen appliance we’ve purchased because I actually use it regularly and do not mind its presence on my kitchen counter!

am very pleased with this appliance it works quickly and is simple to use. It make a liter of sparkling water at a time . You can flavor it wit several choices or just make plain bubbling water. I don't know for sure how many liters the co2 cartridge will make because you can vary the amount of co2 you put into each liter.almost the entire product is plastic which is of some concern but we really enjoy its convenience. The starter kit is a good way to go before you make a final decision

We’re enjoying our fizzy device. I bought this as a gift for our household and we use it intermittently to jazz up our drinks. I like the carbonation and various flavors that can be used with it. This device adds a bit of fun to our meals.

I like it, it’s easier that no need to twist up the bottle to set like my old one.

This is a lifesaver! I drink fountain Diet Coke/Pepsi daily and the money adds up quickly. This is the perfect substitution. It simple and easy to use, doesn't require any electricity or batteries, and quick. It is on the louder side and it also sprays water when using it from the force of the carbonation so I always have to keep a towel on hand, but all in all it's good quality for the Prime Day deal I got and how often I use it

So nice to finally own one, I remember as a kid my friend's grandparents had one of these and we loved it. That was well over 10 years ago, maybe even 15! Now, I see a SodaStream in a local store and see it is really pricey...check on Amazon and get this for such a deal! It is such a good thing to have, and you can carbonate so many drinks. It is also a slightly healthier option, even if you are making sodas. However, definitely buy some extra flavoring to go with it, the Bubly Drop is not the best with these big SodaStream bottles. I purchased the Mtn Dew Code Red Syrup to go along with mine and boy...nostalgia.

It uses no electricity, in par to a handle for paint can. Co2 canisters are pricy. 3 pack is $73. Almost the same price of the unit itself. Each canister should last over 1 month. Thats $24 a month on the high-high end of carbonation. Maximum usage. I was spending that in less then 2 weeks of buying la Croix. So instead of spending $832 a year it drops to $288 not counting water. $544 in savings per year. That covers my HBO max subscription and internet cost!

I'm very happy that we got this, as it saved us from constantly carrying the Seltzer water from the supermarket, but only directly after 'sparkling' the water will it be as fizzy as from the shop and it tends to lose its fizz rather quickly (but then again: so do various store bought brands in the US after opening). If you're drinking up the bottle rather quickly, the pressure will be absolutely fine. Also, I am really unsure where on earth this would come from, but regularly the first sips of freshly 'sparkled' water have the faint smell of a horse stable. I could rule out various other factors, so it's definitely the drink, but I simply don't know how... Still, definitely not bad enough to stop us from using it constantly. About the quality of the bottle: The bottles have an outer layer at the bottom in which during washing tiny crumbs or other tiny food particles can get stuck. We can't seem to get them out again and it doesn't look very appealing (see picture), as you might first assume it was inside the bottle. So that's a Minus for bottle quality. On the environmental impact: there are no glass bottles for this version, which is too bad, as you're obviously trying to reduce the environmental impact while still drinking sparkling water, but then again you're not buying so many one time use plastic bottles that it should be okay. Don't forget to keep an eye on the expiry dates of the bottle!

Family had one in the past, finally bought one for myself and partner to cut costs of buying soft drink and eventually start having low sugar drinks. Works a charm, so convenient, quick delivery and great quality.

I am very happy with this sparkling water maker. I love sparkling water, but don't like having to carry heavy bottles back from the supermarket and hate adding to the world's plastic waste by throwing away the bottles! This is a simple and effective way to make refreshing sparkling water without the bother and waste.

My boyfriend drinks carbonated water all the time, so I got this for him and it works great! It’s super easy to use and the water tastes really good. He likes to try the different bubbly flavours. Definitely a solid purchase and a good gift idea!
