Nope. Doesn't work as described.
I wouldn't buy this again. I use a couple of other Hanna readers. They are quirky, but I can get them to work. The ammonia checker has never worked for me. It has several steps involving drops & two different reagents. And, if something goes wrong, you have to use more drops/reagents, etc. They aren't cheap when you run out. Another problem is that the reader itself does not function as described. HANNA provides a work around but it would be better if they fixed their product. Stick with the API test tubes & color charts.

love this product!!! all i can say is read the instructions and follow them exactly to the second! the tests will fail without percision. Trust me, after the 15 minute result wait time, along with the pricy reagent packs, you want exactness.

Great Product
Love it's good giving a accurate number the no chart with it like my API kit but I just looked the reading was good for a new tank cycling is finished.

Really appreciate getting digital readings when trying to cycle an aquarium. Only part I don't like is that it only goes to 2.5 ppm, but this is still very useful used in conjunction with another cheaper and less accurate tester that goes beyond 2.5 ppm. I'd buy it again. I can't find anything better.
