I want to review this product sometimes I don’t have so much time or energy to do so, but I feel product needs a times not only bad reviews they need good ones too, specially if they do the job I got this machine about a year ago, still work as new this video is from this year; but many times you give review cause you are exited how worked, however later the product doesn’t work or was not like you wanted right? so for a year tried this machine I didn’t wanted to give my judgement in the beginning but now that still is working even we only use this seasonal, pretty much during summer, so I didn’t wanted just reviewed this and to try again, my starts are going to be base on price, quality and durability; For $80 dollars this machine is amazing and also has ice crusher, I used last years and this year and I have to be honest many of you like ice cream on winter right? Well I like of my snow cone or raspado on winter too, so I used as many time too during winter and I loved it, you definitely going to have a fast snow cone, many time we get like $30 dollar machine or less but it doesn’t works as good as this one, as matter of fact before this I got another one, not going to denied was open box however it was like new and that other machine got broke was not suitable for how much I like raspados and I returned the other one and ended getting this; this machine is not perfect for many reason cause people have speak about leaking, cause it seems like the ice has immediately reaction with machine, I haven’t try this with other water like the ice that we made, but I am planing to do it, I only did this with the ice that we buy, so could be the water that they use for the ice, but not sure about it until I try with bottle water, regardless that I will like this machine, also when you are making your ice cone you going to feel water in your hands so maybe to prevent is better to put a cloth or to clean a paper towel; so is true the ice melts so in order for you to use it, for your cone or family you have to have ready the ice that you are planning to use, however remember the container hast to be a glass glass that I use 18 fl oz full of ice and ready for my raspado and maybe put this machine under cloth for me for a few people is not necessary, after that I put a paper towel, at the beginning didn’t like that but again for $80 and now is cheaper is amazing machine and powerful; Don’t like container however this machine a maybe for a single basics or few people, because is powerful definitely you can use it in party, however maybe few people managing this because the container it is for more than one by one basis, but for me that I like big container for a raspado I usually use all for my my home made tamarind or hibiscus raspados and love them Party yes but one by one unless you want to have a cooler and made so much ice storage them in the cooler but you really need two people to help you to storage the ice and close it, I haven’t use in a party but I am sure you could, because is fast machine If you are like me with small family is amazing you managing this on your own and to enjoy summer or again if you are like craving for that on winter go for cause this machine is worthy !

I started my journey looking for an appliance that could make really good snow for slushies but I started looking in the wrong place - blenders. This was a huge mistake because they can crush ice but they can't get it to that fine snow-like quality without melting it. This appliance is the PERFECT solution for making shaved ice for beverages!! The shaved ice comes out in the perfect consistency and the appliance is EASY and SAFE to use. As other have stated, use a block of ice instead of ice cubes for best results. You can make ice blocks many different ways just make sure the size of the ice block can fit completely inside the mouth of the shaver because this appliance has a safety feature that doesn't allow the device to start shaving until the lid is sufficiently closed. The way I make mine is by throwing 1.5 liter bottle waters in the freezer and use a knife to chop them in threes once they're frozen. I first score the plastic around the bottle, where I want to cut the ice, and then lightly chop the bottle (like an axe against a tree trunk) to safely and slowly crack the ice. This works perfectly because the sides of the water bottle hold the ice in place making the perfect crack. I then cut the knife through the crack to completely separate the bottle into perfect sized chunks. These can be stored in the freezer until they are ready to use. Remove the plastic and whalla! You have a perfect ice block ready for shaving! One last thing to mention is the build quality of this thing is incredible and feels industrial strength. I've had mine for 8 months and use it a couple times a month. It is super sturdy and feels like a device that will last for years.

Seems to be made from quality materials and runs very well. Makes great crushed ice and easily can make great snow cones. Very easy to use and maintain. No complaints and hope it lasts a long time with moderate use. World peace is being facilitated by the high-quality snow cones.

This machine absolutely beats the manual ice shaver I used to use. It does work great for shaving ice, it is very fast and does a very good job doing so. I tried making a solid block of ice using a solo cup and confirmed that this procedure will yield you a very smooth and snow like ice shaving. Just a couple of comments. 1: I had to ask for a replacement unit after receiving my order as the first one I received had a crack in the plastic body. Great that I bought it from AMZ so getting a replacement was no problem. 2: The machine is quite tricky to control. Turning it on is no problem, turn on the red button and move the lever to push the ice against the shaver. To turn it off, backing off the lever will not stop the machine until the ice is exposed which makes a mess. I've learned to turn off the red switch while slightly backing off on the the lever (keeping the ice covered). 3: The quality of workmanship is a bit rough. This is obviously a cheap Chinese knock-off with the corresponding low price. There are sharp corners on the aluminum casting, etc. On my second unit received there was something loose inside which apparently was an electrical component (a capacitor I think) that was just stuffed inside the housing and was not restrained. Ended up fixing it so it doesn't make noise and doesn't get disconnected.

Working great! Looks sturdy and well made. Have safety features turns off automatically when lid is opened. Love the included ice pick.

No cover on switch ..no bowl .. earthing pin is missing

It’s a great product and this is my second purchased actually , the first one was brand new when I got it but this second purchased the seller sent me a used one hoping for a price compensation.. I will still keep it because I really need today for my party although the blade were already overused .. they sent me an old and used machine hope for the discount .. thank you

Comes exactly how I expect it to. The product shaves Ice quickly and evenly. The only downfall is that cleaning the product is quite difficult as there are many nooks and crannies that are challenging to get to. Overall, this product does exactly what I want, even faster than I would expect. Great for parties and get-togethers! Would definitely recommend!
