Excellent vitamins for vegans
These are high quality end well thought out vitamins. What others complain about I appreciate; the peppermint oil is to make taking the algae oil more palatable. Getting in extra omega 3 is never a “fun” experience and there is no way around the smells and occasional burps, however it is a very important supplement to get in if your diet lacks it. It’s not rancid, it’s the algae oil. With that being said, I don’t find them hard to take, they just don’t taste like a slice of cake… I have more energy and feel gaps in my diet are covered thanks to this vitamin. I also use their b-12 spray.

Best vitamins
I’m not sure how anyone can give a bad review. I was ready to quit veganism cause I was feeling so lethargic. I just kept looking so tired and felt like ok not great. These are amazing. They literally gave me back my energy and I just feel amazing overall! I used to be a carnivore as well and still never felt this great. I do have a hard time swapping them but I’m trying. I’ve developed this fear of swallowing pills not sure why. Pretty stupid. They smell just a little but nothing you can’t freaking handle.

We got really ill from these, Buyer Beware!
I would NOT recommend this item! I ordered it twice and regret doing it. We all got sick from this. What an expensive mistake, not just monetarily but more so with the bad reaction we all had from this. I'd heard great things about these vitamins so I purchased. Both bags arrived on the same day. When I got them I noticed that there's a plastic-gummy-like piece inside each bag having a really strong peppermint smell on it, seems like it was soaked in peppermint oil and thrown in the bag to detract from the rancid pills inside. Both bags had it. What followed was an allergic reaction, and stomach pain. I'm sure this may work for some people but definitely not for us! Just please be aware and be careful with this. The pills are mostly black with a sort of green oil sloshing around inside each capsule. They smell pretty badly. Anyway, we got really ill from these. This is the only change we made when we started getting really bad stomach pains, that's a hundred dollars down the drain! I'm throwing these awful things in the trash! Just wanted to let others know that if you're taking these and notice stomach pain and not so healthy "movements", then it could be these awful creations doing it to you. This is the first time taking any vitamins where we've had this kind of a reaction. Stopped taking these and a few days later all the issues cleared up. Feeling much better NOT taking these. Go figure. Be careful out there!

Excellent new packaging
I have been taking this supplement (complement, that is) for several years since changing to a whole food plant based diet. I started with an Amazon monthly subscription when that became available. I became disenchanted when a couple of bags arrived with some damaged capsules and a sticky mess as is mentioned in some of the negative reviews. I have been delighted the past two months when the pouch arrived in a cardboard box and no capsule damage. On my carefully planned diet, all of the included nutrients are probably not needed. However, one definitely is (Vitamin B12), some likely are (eg. Vitamin D, zinc and omega3 fatty acids) and the experts make reasonable cases for at least a risk of deficiency in the others while keeping to a plant-based (think vegan) diet. This is definitely not a multi-vitamin for general purpose use. The claims made by the company regarding outside lab testing on the product are impressive, but I have no way of independently verifying this. Reviewers have commented on the peppermint smell. This is likely used to cover up the smell of the algae based source of long chain omega 3 fattly acids (EPAand DHA), and I do not find it offensive at all. The company claims the packaging is compostable. I have recently been cutting the pouches into small pieces and putting them in my backyard compost. They seem to be disappearing, but more time will be needed for me to be sure of that. The company offers a testing program where you can send a blood sample and they will determine your individual status for these nutrients. I have not done this as my life-long study of nutrition has lead me to believe that measuring status of most nutrients by checking blood levels can be misleading. Further, I would question the reliability of a small sample of blood obtained at home without detailed scientific studies.

Minty
Capsules are large but easy to swallow. If you take all three at once you might notice a bit of a fishy aftertaste but it didn’t bother me as it's pretty average for taking omega 3s. If you just take one and spread them out during the day it's fine. I always have a bit more energy after taking these. Also, it looks like they fixed whatever issue they had before with delivery as they started putting the product in individual boxes so other items don't squish them. No leaks whatsoever and in the multiple times i've purchased I haven't had any issues that kept me from using them. Idk why people are complaining about a green fishy smell when it's literally just the vitamins. They have iodine which is kelp and algae based omega 3s so of course it's a little "fishy". If you get another type of omega 3 that has less types of omegas included (this one has like 4 different types) and is just algae oil I'd imagine it wouldn't taste as fishy depending on the brand. I like that all this stuff is included though so I'll keep ordering.

KEEP IN MIND
THEY ARE GREAT VITAMINS FOR VEGANS AND NOTICED A DIFFERENCE BUT I FEEL THEY SHOULD COME IN TABLETS NOT capsuls with plastic covering as THAT is NOT GOOD FOR ANY BODY AND WOULD FOR BETTER DELIVERY IN SOME AREAS WHERE THE SUN MELTS THEM SITTING AT FRONT DOORS WHILE PEOPLE GET BACK HOME TO THIER PACKAGES OR IN TRUCKS FOR HOURS TIL THEY ARE DELIVERED! I ALSO FEEL PERHAPS the dosage may be much BEING A VEGAN/PLANT EATER THAT GET ALOT OF MY NUTRITIONS FROM REAL FOOD SO I HAVE BEEN REDUCING MY INTAKE TO 1 OR TWO! NOT SURE WHAT that fishy smell is but PRETTY SURE they are NOT swindling us! NOT favoring the price KNOWING what is taken from MOTHER BEING THE PLANET to profit for others WHILE PEOPLE WANT BETTER HEALTH with made up prices just SHOULD STOP AND THINK HOW CREATOR SENT ALL HERE TO CARE AND SHARE NOT swindle!

Good Vegan Multivitamin, but Daily Serving Is a Bit Much
This is a good multivitamin for vegans and covers a solid range of nutrients that can be harder to get from a plant-based diet. It feels well-balanced and easy to incorporate into a routine in terms of effectiveness. However, needing to take three capsules per day feels like a lot and makes it less convenient than it could be. Overall, it’s a strong supplement, but the serving size is a bit inconvenient for daily use.

Rancid and DISGUSTING
These are 100% rancid. The DHA is extremely foul smelling just like any other fish tablet or algae-based tablet on the market. Break one of these open and smell it - absolutely DISGUSTING. I took these for over a year and so did my whole family & several friends. When you take these, even if it's a fresh batch and none of the tablets broke open in shipping, you will be belching disgusting rancid fish-like odors. They mask it with a strong peppermint flavor on the exterior, in hopes that you don't notice the rancidity. There's no regulations on freshness in the supplement industry so nothing is preventing them from selling you rancid ingredients. Personally I switched to taking Dr. Fuhrman's EPA/DHA supplement & Furhman's daily multivitamin because it covers what's in these but is actually fresh. To my knowledge that is the only fresh DHA product on the market made & stored in a refrigerated environment. Any other one i've tried has been rancid, with Complement being the worst example. And their customer service is a joke. They hire random people from outside the country who have no idea about the products. I've gotten different answers to the same question from different people. Not trustworthy whatsoever. It's a bummer because i was excited for these when they came out. Never again.
