Worked perfectly for our 5 gal water jugs to place on our top loading water cooler dispenser. We had a water jug fall over and it didn't spill at all.

I lug water 3 gallon water jugs to my work at least once a week and have been doing so for probably 8-10 years. Our tap water at work is just not good tasting and we long ago switched to a water cooler with bottled water. I would buy new bottles once a year, and just sanitize and refill the bottles at home from my water filtration system I set up for homebrewing beer. I'd wrap plastic wrap over the bottle tops with an elastic band and throw a tin foil wrap over that to keep the cats from messing with them. It was always a total pain making the little plastic sheets and getting them on there. Found these wonderful little caps and it has made the process stupid easy. I just sanitize the cover right along with the container. Haven't had one problem with the caps failing yet and I've been using them for months. I doubt I'll need another set, but if I do I'm buying these again!
