This gazebo exceeded my expectations. The footprint is slightly smaller than the 12x16 roof coverage. For our area, it was preferred that the footprint is slightly smaller than the roof coverage area, which was ideal and allowed me to get a larger size gazebo! We hired a contractor to assemble the gazebo and he said he was surprised and impressed at the quality. He indicated some items had been damaged during shipping but he was able to work around it. A detail that I had not been able to determine from other reviews or from official pictures was that there are, in fact, two hooks in the ceiling for a ceiling fan or lights comments that are. (I bought these two ceiling fans from Lowe's, they plug into a regular outlet, are water resistant, have a light, and are very quiet. I also bought the 12-in down bar so the fans would be a little closer to the action.) The contractor painted some conduit black, ran a power cord through it, and create a junction box at the ceiling in between the fans for easy power that looks like it's part of the kit. It took our contractor 8 hours, spread over 2 days, to assemble it. He worked by himself and had no issue with getting the job done. I'm sure this gazebo will make our days and nights more enjoyable here in Southern California.

Wasn't what I wanted, roof didn't seem sturdy. Cost $200 to ship, wanted $450 to return and was not offering a full refund. It's still sitting in my garage in its boxes.

We purchased the 16x20 with the two level roof. Yes it has mosquito netting around the main “walls” but the two level roof has no protection from mosquitoes, it is totally open between the two levels. What a waste of our money, the whole reason we bought this was to enjoy our patio without bugs.

Extremely disappointed in the product and the customer service that has taken place during this whole process. Some metal frame and roof panels were bent. They keep asked for pictures. I sent them and they aren’t willing to send the damaged parts.
