GEARHALO™ Sports Deodorizer Pods - Stops The Stink!

This is a really powerful and effective deodorizer pod. You get two per package and they have velcro on it so you can attach it to the inside of your gym bag or shoes a bit easier without risk of it moving around or falling out. They will fit in any adult shoe size and acts pretty quickly. It deodorizes and the smell last for a VERY long time. I have yet to see the pod lose the strong scent. You just put it in and it absorb the moisture while giving the pleasant linen smell into your shoes. The smell last for quite sometime after use which is nice. It does not get wet and remains effective for a long time. I am not sure when I will be replacing this. Overall this is a very good pod to have. You can place one in each shoe and overnight the smell is gone and the shoes are dry out of moisture from sweat. If you happen to get your shoes wet this will not dry it out overnight. The pod is well made and should not break open. It is not too heavy but has some heft to it. I really love how the scent is strong and long lasting.

these work so well, I put them in my running shoes that I wear for about 10 hours a day each night, and my shoes smell great and are super-dry each morning. I've used a ton of different sprays and powders... these pods were the answer.

I waited until hockey season was over to write this review. These are the best deodorizer/moisture absorbers I have ever purchased in all the years my son has played hockey. His new bag is almost still as fresh as when we bought it at the beginning of this season. He received lots of compliments on the almost cologne-like scent of these deodorizers from his teammates. His gear doesn’t qualify as a bio-weapon and it barely stinks (we do hang it after every use, but still!). 100/10 cannot recommend these enough

I play in a low league adult recreational hockey league as a goalie once a week. I throw one each in my blocker and trapper and it’s removed all the smell. It did leave a sort of detergent smell that would remain on my hands even after a thorough post-game shower. I may just be leaving them in too long. Most importantly, they lasted me 3 years and are good value for the money. I’m writing this review after putting them in my cart again.

I bought these things in 2022; they retain the scent and still work. I like that the smell is not too masculine, as other products are. I use them for travel. I put them in my shoes when I kick them off on the plane (you’re welcome), after a long day of sightseeing, and finally in my dirty laundry bag on the return trip. I wish it would absorb moisture better, but I’m unsure if they claim to do that. They are pricey, but are still working after 3 and countless trips. I think it’s a good buy.

I bought this product after going to a hockey trip with another family and seeing that they used it in the child's hockey bag. When we received ours the smell of the product was so nice(as I expected). I washed all my child's equipment so we were starting with half way decent smelling stuff...he is a goalie. After about a month most of the equipment once again smelled but the bag itself still smelled good. I feel that if you bought these starting with new equipment everything may stay fresher longer but all in all we are happy. We even bought some for his lacrosse bag!

These shockingly work really well. They don't just "mask" the smell, they remove it and yes, it is replaced with a very strong, cologne smell, but that is much better than the stink that comes out of my skates right after sweating in them for an hour or two. I just got them 2 weeks ago so I cannot comment on how long they last, but I am really happy with them so far.

I bought these to help deodorize some felted wool slippers that I've been wear non-stop during COVID. The slippers are getting funky and aren't easily washable. These pods seemed like a good solve. They are like small bean bags or slightly thicker versions of "hot hands"-type packets. The size and materials seemed great. However, the odor of the pods is nauseatingly strong. They smell very chemically "clean" - like Fabreze on steroids. Every corner of my apartment smelled like these pods once I opened the packaging. After a day of tucking them into my slippers, I couldn't take the intensity of the odor, so I tossed them into a bin with my running shoes and boots. I hoped by burying them, it would lessen the smell. No luck. I hate wasting anything, but I threw these away after 3 days. I couldn't take the overwhelming smell.

I had a sewer scent coming from underneath one of my bathroom vanities. Tried everything, Fabreeze, deodorant absorbing sponges, charcoal absorption pouches, etc. It is surprising how well these deodorizing pods work! Once I received them, placed them under the vanity and they absorb the scent immediately. I is true that their scent can be overwhelming, since I can smell them all the way to the hallway in my condominium, however, it beats the foul scent that I had before. I had these pods for about three weeks and they keep on working fine. I will report on how well they will continue to work over time. What I would recommend is try one pod first to see if this resolves your scent problem and if it is not enough then place the second pod as needed, this might make their scent less overwhelming. I will certainly recommend this product, it is excellent, no regrets.

It's a bit of a brute force approach to shoe odor. It's own smell, reasonably pleasant, but quite strong, permeates and masks the unpleasant odors coming out of shoes. Drop them in immediately after taking your shoes off, your feet's residual heat will further activate the product's active ingredient.

I've tried a whack of other products since my husband loves to run and work out at the gym and I love to walk everywhere. They don't just stop the smell: they also suck up all the moisture that helps to cause blisters. Plus there are no plastic balls -- we are trying to reduce our plastic use -- and they can easily be renewed in the dryer. At first the perfume seemed a little strong, but trust me, it beats the alternative and the perfume smell has faded since I bought them a year ago. I have them for all of our shoes and boots as well as our work gloves. They make a great gift for active friends and family members. We couldn't live without them and I haven't found anything that works as well. Definitely 5 stars!

It is very thick and the scent is strong. It definitely covers the smells, but the scent can be overwhelming and if you put the gear on, that is all you smell. Which I guess is better than smelling stinky lol

These are great would recommend to anyone with workbooks. Always smell good and absorb some of the moisture I have purchased multiple of these.
