These were a hit as gifts for my son’s soccer team. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because not all of them lit up when I received them but they were still fun to play with.

I found a similar item at an outdoor swamp meet a few months back & my toddlers love them! When they broke the ones I bought I decided to see if amazon sold them. Low and behold the had a bulk of them! I was so excited to give these to my kids. They work exactly the same, they even have a little string on them! My only issue is that the squeaker popped out fairly quickly on 3 already also causing the string to fall out. I didn't give all these to my 2 kids, I gave them 1 at a time, but they didn't care for them once the squeaker and string were gone. Now they are just little light up balls. This was still a good buy in my opinion, anything to entertain your toddlers.

On a positive note, balls were exactly as pictured. All 12 flashed. And yes, they do squeak. Rather loudly. But the squeaker can be removed so that’s not a deal breaker. On a negative note, the balls were not 3 inch. More like 2 1/2, which doesn’t sound like much, but 1/2 inch on a ball that size is quite a bit. An actual 3 inch ball was what I was really looking for, but I can live with them. So not a serious deal breaker. Just a bit of a little bummer. They lose a star for misrepresentation.

I got my order and some balls were not lighting up and others were missing the little handle part. I was going to use them for my kids soccer snacks this weekend, but it didn’t went as plan.

I bought 2 packs of 12 (24 total) for party favors. First, the little plastic piece that makes them squeak come out very easily. This would be really dangerous to leave around if you have pets or small children. Luckily, I have neither, but I had to warn others. Second, these are NOT massage balls. They have little spikes on them, but are soft, squishy novelty light-up balls, and would do nothing for a massage. Third, four of 24 balls came with little rubber tethers on them about 3 inches long, like for dangling or bouncing. I didn't know whether to leave them or cut them off to make them uniform with the others. The little rubber string is attached right at the squeaker, which is also how I discovered how easily the squeakers came out. The squeaking is ridiculously annoying (and could be taken out beforehand). The flashing light is multicolored, but one speed: very fast--seizure inducing. Maybe I should not have let my 8 year old pick his own party favor. But, then again, that's pretty much the age group that would find this appealing.

Surprise! They squeek when thrown or squeezed. Loudly. The kids found this feature delightful; the adults, less so! Aside from them making noise, all 12 worked out of the box, and are still going strong.

These look good and bounce well, but the little plug to keep the ball closed comes out very easily. A few of them did not light up when we bounced them. They are fine for the price but definitely expect what you pay for.

Our soccer team loved them. The parents not so much. The noise they make is unbearable and annoying.
