I put this on my low windowsills near the pup's crate. I was worried about it being able to wrap around and cover the whole ledge. While it took a lot of tumb-nail pressing (I was too stubborn to use a quarter or whatever) from the middle out to prevent air bubbles, I saw that it went around the sides well. You just need to press tight to the rim edge before folding over it? I pulled it up to readjust it at some point and the wood underneath was fine. Hopefully if we need to pull it up the wood will be fine then too! Potential repainting is preferable to replacing a windowsill. I actually put this on my wall too since the xpen was bumping up against it. Works well there too! I need more - did two windowsills and a patch on the wall, only have a bit left over but I might put it everywhere. Buying more now.

I put this on the inside of the doors when I got a new car. I no longer have to worry about my dog scratching up my car’s interior when he puts his head out the window. I do wish it had a non-slip or textured surface. I’ve noticed my dog’s paws will sometimes slip on this tape. I may try to spray some texture stuff onto the tape I have left and try that in my car to see if it gives him more grip. Otherwise I’m very satisfied with this product. It’s stayed in place for over a year and a half now.

Noticed my cat trying to climb up and scratch door jambs so I got this. I just spent 30 min putting on 2 eight-inch straps on and I'm not really happy with this. The Adhesive is a joke - during application and literally every few minutes since the edges around the fold over (which was rough becuae it did not want to bend at all) for the nose keeps popping up. And the best part is it's pulling up the paint. So it's too weak to stay put but strong enough to damage the wall. I was really excited about this and now I'm just frustrated. Tbh I think the seller owes me some paint.

I found it took up my finish on my window sills when I moved a piece while placing. We will have to redo the window sills anyways from the dogs clawing at them till we put this down, so not horrible- but still a bummer. I wish these were more finish- safe.

I am very pleased with how this is holding up so far. Just refinished my window ledge from 3 dogs tearing it up with their toe nails. It will take off some polyurethane, when and if I have to re-do it, but hoping not to have to do that for a long time! Has adhered great and not coming up anywhere. Used it on 2 large picture windows with side casements. This was a much more economical choice than plexiglass that wasn't going to fit as well.

I used the entire roll on different areas my dog had chewed on. Yes, I’ve noticed he isn’t bothering those places anymore, but at the same time the tape was not durable. One place was a windowsill, still there, but it will not adhere to the bottom of the pane. So it’s only halfway on and being used as a deterrent. The other was on the frame of a headboard. Knowing what I did about the windowsill, I made sure to wrap the tape so it could adhere to itself for stability, it took way too much tape to ensure stability and it was not a smooth job. The concept is great, just need to figure out what surfaces actually work with it

Fantastic way to protect your doors from dog scratching

My puppy loves chewing wood so I bought this to protect my window sills. It's relatively discreet and has managed to stop the destruction.
