Durable
This spatula is well made. It is durable, and can handle general daily kitchen use. I would recommend this spatula for anyone looking for a thicker durable, all around spatula. Can be used for stirring, mixing, or as a spatula. Not so good at flipping pancakes (it's thick). Good at most other things. Solid construction, durable, and solid wood.

Very well made, stutdy. For all kinds of kitchen uses. Nice to have a flat sides wooden spoon.

Nicely made, did need a little attention before use
Nice quality. There is no finish on this when it arrived (i did not expect it to have one) and it was a little rough too. I sanded it a little bit and applied a few coats of mineral oil to it before washing or using it. From time to time I reapply mineral oil jus like caring for a butcher block cutting board. It would be nicer if it were a little thinner, but that may also make it fragile. It's not ideal for uses where a thin turner or spatula is needed but it otherwise it works well. Nice that it's non-stick friendly and easy to take care of (don't leave it soaking or put it in the dishwasher). The more use it gets the better it works. It is a nice in between of metal and plastic utensils.

Ideal Wooden Turner
After tossing out our black plastic utensils, I have been replacing them with metal and wood alternatives. Frankly, I was surprised at this wooden turner, as it does a masterful job of flipping pancakes, eggs, and burgers on our stove. Aside from being easy to clean, it has a sturdy handle and is very well made. Highly Recommended!
