Works well

This docking station is fine. It's got Pros and Cons that I'll list below but the overall view is the dock is great for hooking all external devices once other then the Steam Deck itself. Perfect for the living room. Pros -Cheap -Made out of aluminum -Has a Network Jack (Really handy to install game direct connected) Cons -Doesn't come with a power cable -Only has one monitor out -USB ports on the back became very loose after a week of moving my headset between the dock and my computer. This being said, I knew what I was getting when I bought it other then the USB issue. I plan on getting the official docking station and connecting it up to my work monitors and using the Steam Deck in desktop mode. If you just want an extra dock to connect up to the living room TV and use a bluetooth controller, this dock is perfect aside for having buy an extra charging cable.

I have one of the previous editions of this and I had a time getting it to actually work. It was glitchy, couldn’t hold my steam deck if there was a case on it, and the usb-c connector to the deck was way too short. This one is superior in every way. It can project with or without a charger attached, it can hold a steam deck with cover, and there is no lag. I’m thrilled.

This was a gift for my son he absolutely loves it for his steam deck. Being able to put it on his TV stand and use a Bluetooth controller to play his games has been a game changer for him. He also likes the way that it sits up cuz it looks aesthetically nice. An extra is that it works for other devices as well but he does use it primarily for his steam deck would highly recommend to other people. I am somewhat of tech guy and so is he so the importance of the stock working at 4K at 120 hertz was pretty high on the list. He has a brand new qled TV and it does make a difference.

Made out of metal and feels hefty for how small it is. Steam deck fits perfectly and works perfect with external monitors now.

Generally works as intended. A little awkward how the attached USB-C cable doesn't have a good place to go when storing for travel or taking on the go. Also, I plugged in a basic Logitech USB mouse and keyboard, and they kept disconnecting every few minutes when using a basic iPad charging cable. This meant it was unusable as a dock for "desktop mode". Maybe there was not enough power and have to use a bigger power brick? Then that takes away from the portability though. Also, my USB Xbox 360 controller (with the USB receiver) did not work at all, even when using a 120w charging cable to the dock. Most people will probably be using the bluetooth Xbox controller rather than the USB one, but this was a disappointment for me. Despite everything, for $27 out the door, I think it's a good value if you just need basic connectivity. If I could do it over again though, I would get the dock that folds and/or one that has a dedicated storage spot for the USB-C cable, or at least a dock that has more USB inputs.

La ricarica non è a 100W e nemmeno a 64W, dato che la mia XBox Ally X rileva ricarica lenta a wattaggio basso. L’uscita HDMI non funziona in alcun modo e la qualità generale dei componenti è di bassa lega. Acquisto assolutamente da evitare!
