Brilliant little toaster.

really nice toaster, with thick slots. Ordered another one previously and had to send it back for this make . It’s much better much sturdier.

Tiny toaster for tiny bread
Needed a new toaster and spent far too long working through toaster reviews before settling on this one. First impressions were positive: looked good, felt well built, easy and intuitive to use (although it is a toaster so I wasn't expecting a massive manual), and has a slightly art-deco feel to the styling and colour. All good, until I went to make a slice of toast. It's tiny. If you're using anything other than a bog-standard, highly-processed, square slice of bread that you get from the supermarket then you're gonna have a problem. The 2 slots are wide enough, just not deep enough. It toasted evenly and quickly on both sides, which is great, yet if you're using decent bread then you'll need to flip it over to make sure you get it all toasted. The pictures show a slice of Black Sheep bread poking out the top whilst toasting. The only way to get it all in is to cut a slice in half, otherwise, there's no chance of toasting the full slice in one go. And if you were using pan bread (look it up, it's Scottish), then you may as well give up on the idea of decent toast from this toaster. Decent value for money, it toasts well, but loses a star for being so small. Recommended if you only use small slices of boring bread for toast.

Toast does come out lovely
This toaster does look very nice in my kitchen , but plastic looking and cheap , but for the price is very good value . If it was more solid I would love it .

Beautiful toaster but I was unaware that it did not have an Australian electricity plug so I am un able to use it.

I have no idea why this is advertised on Amazon Australia, as it arrived with ENGLISH plugs. This is so frustrating and has annoyed me so much as it will be far too expensive for me to send these back… and I will now need to pay an electrician to update the plugs. It should be REALLY CLEARLY stated that this is going to have THE WRONG PLUG for use in this country because I would not have purchased it if I had have known. Instead it says “UK imports may differ from local products” which is SO VAGUE. I can’t tell you how annoyed I am about this. I bought both the kettle and the toaster. On top of this, it isn’t as nice in person as it is in the photos… I really am not happy with this purchase but I guess I am stuck with it now that I have it. Either that or post them back for the same price I spent on them.
