Great educational & fun trinket for children!
I gave this to my son for his 4th birthday. He's had it for over 2 months now and still likes to carry it around and show it to people. It is both educational and beautiful. The crystal is very clear and when you shine a flashlight (or sunlight) through it on one of the correct sides, it beams colored spectrum light onto the surrounding walls/room. The crystal has 2 crisscrossing planes inside of it that form a 3-dimensional X within the cube. These provide the refracting capabilities and also why you have to shine the light in the correct direction through the crystal for it to show the spectrum. Overall, a neat gift to give to a child which can also be used to educate them on the light spectrum.

Really cool cube
Not as colorful as I thought it would be but it is still great and really cool!

Small and beautiful
Beautifully boxed and protected little cube. When placed in the correct lighting it refracts light beautifully, creating a rainbow of colors. When not quite at the right light or position, it is still a lovely cube that brings on a smile.

Great for young minds
I bought this as a present for a friends little girl (4 years old). I was told she loved it taking it all around the house and outside playing with it in the sun delighting in the different spectra of light she could produce by moving it around.

Quality piece, slightly small
Quality piece with a nice weight to it. Pay close attention to the size, it is small but a great gift. Looks very much like the photo.

This isn’t nearly as cool as it looks in the. Pictures
I was expecting this to look like the pictures, dazzling light displays, a rainbow of colors. Yes, it does refract light and make colors, but not like in the pics. It’s not that cool.

I bought this as part of an Advent Calendar and they are small and beautiful.

It is hard to believe how expensive this little guy is for what I'm getting but, I do NOT regret it. It is good quality and comes in a hardy box. The colors even show very well when I put it up against my computer screen. So yeah, it works really well. Very happy with it.
