The material faded in 3 months. Don’t buy this umbrella unless you can keep replacing it every couple of months.

umbrella was difficult at first to open up and close.But after several times,it works great.love the slanting.Material is nice too.very attractive with the ruffle edges.like that I can lower it pretty close to table.would buy again

For the price, this is a very well made product. It is very simple to erect, sturdy and attractive. The fabric is polyester and not sunbrella or cloth and the raising mechanism has no pulleys, gears, cranks or ropes but then it does not cost $500 either. It is a good, simple uncomplicated umbrella that will surely last at least 4 years. Then you buy another one, because even the cloth on the expensive ones only look good for about that time anyway.
