AC Compressor Control Solenoid Valve Compatible with Volkswagen, Audi models with Sanden PXE16 PXE14 1K0820803E - VW GTI, Golf, Passat, Tiguan, Jetta TDI, A3 - Pressure Valve

Works perfect. My 2007 Jetta 2.5 is now blowing great AC cold air. Also feplaced the cabin filter and the airflow increased dramatically as well (very dirty filter).

The right part for my car. AC works well after replacement and help to save thousand dollars to replace the compressor. Need technican for installation, not recommended for DIY.

Installed this part, and it immediately leaked when I was vacuuming down the system. Either the diameter is not up to spec, or the o-rings are inferior. This part is significantly lighter and definitely feels cheaper than OEM. I purchased an equivalent part from a different manufacturer and everything works great.

I installed this in my friends 2014 Volkswagen golf when her air conditioner quit working. I captured the R134 refrigerant in the system, pulled the clip out of the old solenoid and put this one in. evacuated the system and put in new R134 and it the system cools like it was new.

Had issues with ac on 2014 Passat. Ac wouldn’t kick in sometimes especially when it was parked all day in heat. Many places told me compressor is going out and needs replacing at $1000. It took couple hours to replace part with system evacuation, vacuum and recharge. Correct amount of refrigerant is 600g/21oz and 2 oz oil. Keep in mind that had to loosen compressor to get access to c clip and pulling it out. Since repair ac kicks in every time and radiator/cooling fans modulating now vs full blast before when ac was working. Will update if anything changes

Just got this for our 2008 VW Rabbit. It was taking a while for the AC to kick on, like other people had reported when the valve is sticking. Had the system drained and I replaced the part myself. Nothing besides the splash shield needs to be removed to install this part. Jack up the front end (please use jack stands for safety), remove the splash shield, disconnect the electrical plug, use snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring, and gently pry the old valve out with a large screwdriver. The more the front end is lifted, the less likely that any PAG oil from the compressor will leak out. When putting the new one in, lube the o-rings with some pag oil to help the seal and preserve them. I suggest wearing a mask and safety glasses. You do not want any PAG oil on your face if there is still any pressure left in the system.

I have to say that this product is amazing, I take my golf tdi to the mechanic to see if they could find the problem on my A/C and they want it to change the whole compressor for $1,000...so I start reading on the internet about other options and I found out that this cars on particular have problems with the valve attached to the compressor.....so I decided to give a shot, just to see if I could fix the problem and it did.. this part works amazing i installed myself whitout a problem...all I have to say is that not pay attention to negative comments...you're gonna safe a lot of money, people who write bad comments is because they probably order the wrong part for the wrong compressor

Have a 2011 Jetta 2.5L, was blowing only hot air when the A/c was on. This did the trick. Hopefully it lasts at least a few years. These solenoids are notorious for going bad. But so far so good. Install isn’t the most complex but requires special tools, such lock ring pliers, AC manifold gauges. I recommend a 4 way gauge. A vacuum pump, and r134a. If you do not know how to recover the current refrigerant, take it in for them to pump down your system.

疑心暗鬼で買いましたが届いて交換する時に見比べたら形とかが違ってたけれど取り敢えず付けて始動したら完璧にガス漏れも無く直りまし、この部品を知らずにコンプレッサー交換してたら何倍ものお金がかかってたかと思うと良かったです。
