***UPDATE*** I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 5. I have had this for over a year now and it is still operating the same as described in the original review that follows. I read tons of reviews before buying. Found the best review on this product and decided to get it. So far it fits perfectly, came with about a 65% charge, I get several hours of use with each charge, it holds the charge when the laptop is turned off, it boots up on just battery power, I get plenty of warning when it is going low so I can plug in with no fear of losing anything. I have read some reviews that have said everything was great at first but it stopped charging after a few months. I'll give it a few months and try to update my review.

the battery lasts up to 5 hours (Ubuntu OS, with windows 4 hours on average), plus the capacity is above average. However, this battery only has a capacity of 77Wh and not the 97Wh that they offer in the post. In general it is a good change solution for when the battery is giving problems.

The battery fits perfectly had a 60% charge when installed and charged up to 100% in about a hour I believe not exactly sure but when I went back to check on it it had already finished charging. It's the exact oem 9 cell battery I was replacing down to the last detail. I purchased it for my daughter's PC to replace hers as it stopped holding a charge. The price was comparable and I didn't want to take any chances especially with generics. I'm very happy with this purchase and the seller who took the time to not only thank me but also assured me that my purchase was warranted for a full 12 months and if I had any issues to contact them for a hassle free return. I definitely recommend this seller 100% I also wanted to mention the company sent me a really cool battery pack charger thing for free as a thank you. I don't know much about them but it holds a lot of power and not only charges up fast but charged devices fast. It also holds enough charge to charge multiple devices easily.

At work we have a lot of Latitude laptops that are being used 24/7 due to the nature of the business and they are constantly being charged and discharged. The original Dell batteries lasted about 2 years before we started getting calls about battery problems. I typically order replacement batteries from the laptop manufacturer because bad quality batteries can be a risk of fire. So I took a chance on this battery and after testing it for a few cycles, we handed it to the end user and asked to keep an eye on temperatures during the charge cycle and not to charge it unattended. It turns out, this battery stays cool while charging and the charge lasts about the same amount of time that the original battery did. It has been about 6 months that it is in use now and it has been working without a problem.

I have a latitude E5530. The battery that came with my laptop was getting old and tired, hence why I was looking for a new one. I saw this 97w battery and before buying I actually asked a question about the product and was told that this battery would charge fine with a 90W, 19.5V, 4.62A power adapter. I get the battery and test it out. My computer recognized it and it showed - out of box - a charge of 3 hours. I gave it a charge and put it away for safe keeping. A month later, my old battery finally crapped out and I put in the new battery. I have had it on charge now overnight for 2 whole days (laptop off) and the battery indicator, while charging and when turned on, still shows 0%. I uplug the charger and my laptop immediately turns off. Now everywhere I go, I need to bring the charger to use my laptop. Perhaps I got a bad one out of the bunch or maybe I was told incorrectly that this power adaptor would charge this battery (if this is the case please tell me) but as of now I'm giving this a 1 star. Can't charge, lasted literally 3 hrs, 1 time use. junk.

My corp. issued me a Dell E6420 with a flush-fitting, 6-cell battery. That got tired over the years and wouldn't hold a charge. Rather than hassle through corporate requisitioning, I bought a new 9-cell battery myself. This battery snaps into my Dell without issue. It sticks out about 3/4 inch but still fits in my neoprene sleeve case. The extra 50% capacity is very helpful during meetings in the conference room, so I don't have to bring my charger. The price was right. BTW, I ordered a similar battery through another vendor and they shipped a completely incompatible one. This one snapped in and was well worth the investment.

I liked the information their ad contain, battery and laptop protection; a quick guide video; trouble shooting instructions. I had all this information before I bought the battery, nice. Yes I did have an issue, but I follow their instructions right there in the ad and the and the laptop are working great. It took a full charge, I drained the battery until it was dead, repeat this procedure, also from their video, thank you; You made my life so much easier, and my customer thanks you. Information is power, thanks for sharing the power :)
