I love this packaging for gifting and the product for a gentle self-tan experience. The box and inside bottles make quite an attractive package. I am careful how I use products like these as they can make my facial skin look leathery if I rub too hard and cause some pigment to dislodge unevenly. My age/sunspots will get more tint if I am not careful. I exfoliate first, and I have a self-tan remover handy when the blotchiness appears - because it will work on my already uneven skin tone. This product promotes color over time and does not deposit color. I find this to promote an attractive shade of a darker hue to my facial skin, neck, shoulders, and decolletage. Any more than that, and I use an allover body tanning product. This product is gentler than most I have used because it comes with the facial oil to apply after putting on the first layer. Night time is perfect for this process. It doesn't seem to rub off onto pillowcases or towels though I am prepared just in case.I am happy with this compared to many self-tan products. The dark spots will be more hyperpigmented as the spots on my skin sometimes involve broken patches.I love the scent and the texture of my skin after applying it. Given the limitations of today's technology, I believe that it helps to give me as lovely of a tan as possible. Just be gentle and apply it with care.This skin system is fantastic! Enjoy!

Facial oil missing from cylinder. Disappointing.

I was noticing how sun kissed my face looked and had legitimately forgot I had used this product a few times at night and instead thought I just was really great at tanning - ha! Needless to say tan-luxe has an amazing reputation because it actually WORKS and gives you a suble buildable glow after just a few applications. The serum feels weightless on my skin and rubs in easily. I have acne prone skin and had no issues! I apply at night and the night repair serum feels lightweight and great on the skin with no stickiness or weird scents. And the results are truly dazzling. If you’re Iike me you’ll be legitimately impressed with how glowy your skin looks! This product does have a higher price point but because you only need a few drops and you can use it sparingly and still see results you definitely get bang for your buck.

This comes in a round luxurious looking box, and contains two products, one is the oil, and one is the tan elixir, and you mix a drop of the tan elixir, to a drop or two of the oil into your hand, and rub it on your face before bed.I’m very white, with freckles, i don’t tan easily at all, i just get freckles on top of freckles, but my face never seems to change much, and i just look pale all the time.I didn’t really notice much difference when i used 1 drop of elixir, so i tried it with 2 drops, and even then, it was not a noticeable brown colour. I’m stretching to call it a healthy glow.But the oil that you mix the elixir into, that really seems to be very moisturizing, and i think that’s actually doing more for my skin than the tan stuff. It doesn’t soak right in either, so you can massage it for a little bit. I also did not need to apply moisturizer over the top. Had i done so, i would have felt too greasy, and my skin doesn’t react well when it’s too greasy. I get breakouts. So my skin does feel great, it’s just not looking very brown, it feels smooth, and plump, very hydrated. I’ll just keep increasing the amount of tan elixir drops, and see if that helps me get more colour. I like the smell too, i don’t get that fake tan smell from it.It’s not my favourite self tanner, but it’s not the worst I’ve used either.

Okay, I do not like this product at all. My fault for not reading the description better. I thought this was a serum that you mix into your face lotion to provide a gradual tan. You need to mix it with the oil that comes in this set. Now…. This is where it gets MESSY! My tanning elixir doesn’t have a dropper as you can see from my pic. and it doesn’t appear to have come loose either. It’s not in the bottle. So I thought, okay… I have an extra bottle with a dropper that I can use, no big deal. I always buy extra glass bottles for essential oils. Sooo I use that. You’re supposed to ( as per the directions ) use 1-3 pumps of the tanning elixir to your face then add 2-6 drops of the facial oil to your face afterwards and go to bed. So you’re NOT mixing these oils together. You apply one at a time. Both oils are heavy and didn’t absorb well. I felt like I smeared Crisco all over my face and the kicker is: I used this twice. Second time using less drops bc it was so heavy feeling on my face. No good results either time and now I have oil stains on my satin pillowcase. This stuff just wouldn’t absorb. Also, I have very sensitive, reactive skin and this made my face go NUTS! I looked like I had hives when I woke up the next morning. The second time I used this, ( like a week later ) like I said I used less of the oil and only left it on for a couple hours. Skin reacted either way. If you’re sensitive to smells, you won’t like this. It has a floral type scent that never leaves. I don’t know if it was the oil, or the scent or both, but my face didn’t like this duo. I can’t recommend this product. If you want a nice glow, slug overnight the night after you use actual gradual tanning drops that you can mix with your moisturizer!!! Sorry.

I LOVE the oil, most gradual face tanners suggest you mix with a moisturizer of your choice, so I like that this one actually came with the moisturizer. Play around with the tanner though, everyone's skin is different. I didn't notice on my first try, but on like day 3 I noticed my foundation looked a little light on my skin tone, so it is def. giving me a subtle tan, which is what I wanted! If you don't like the tan itself, the moisturizing oil is ON POINT.

Love this product but you only need a little and try and not work it into your hairline as I can leave tell tale signs of fake tan other than that it's very natural like you have spent the weekend at st Tropez

I have used the original tan luxe for a long time and had high hopes for this, however it is not as good. No difference the next morning apart from it tanning my hairline.

Packaged beautifully, I got this for a great price! Used for the first time, amazing results! Now my new favourite tanning fave serum

Why isn’t this securely taped up?Just opened and dirty bottles on both products.Do better
