mCover for 11.6" Dell Chromebook 11 3180 / Inspiron 3181 Clamshell Laptop

AWESOME CASE!! I really liked how this case looked however when I saw the reviews all of them said the case did not fit properly. I was hesitant but the product said it was made for my exact laptop, the Chromebook 11 (3180), so I went ahead and ordered it. It fits perfectly and looks exactly like the picture!!! :))) If you have a Chromebook 11 (3180), then order this. If you have another type, I wouldn't risk it. Would recommend!!!

It took FOREVER for this case to come in. My kids are virtual schooling, and I ordered this case with the understanding that it would arrive within around 5 Amazon Prime business days. Well, that didn't happen, but when it finally arrived, it showed up on the doorstep in perfect condition and fit the Chromebook perfectly. It has the little feet on the back that help the Chromebook tilt for more comfortable typing. I can't remember what color we ordered, but it was exactly as pictured and expected.As most folks know, you really need to pay attention to the model of the unit you are covering with these cases. This one fit the model it was intended for, and I double-checked a bunch of reviews to make sure that we were ordering the right case. The price was pretty comparable to most of the other cases.We actually ordered this case for a different Chromebook model a few years ago and it's held up pretty well. I'd buy it again if it's needed.

The product description explicitly states that this product is "Designed to perfectly fit the new 2018 11.6-inch Dell Chromebook 3181 and 2017 11.6-inch Dell Chromebook 11 3180 series laptop and protect ALL corners." Upon receiving it, we went to install it on the 2018 11.6-inch Dell Chromebook 3181 and the bottom piece is too small and the top piece is too big. In both cases, the pieces don't fit on at all so are useless. A shame because we've bought two of these for other Chromebooks in the past and have had no issues whatsoever with them.EDIT: Nice to see they've at least updated the description to remove 3181 compatibility but it still doesn't help the fact that I ordered it and now have to go through the hassle of returning it from Canada.EDIT 2: Looks like they re-added 3181 compatibility but it does NOT fit.

It looks like it's cheap plastic that will break in a min, HOWEVER, it fits perfectly and is easy to put on. It is with a teenage all day at school and home on the weekends and it has held up. It has been through a lot and still holds up. I'm really impressed!!

This case fit perfectly on my son's Chromebook, and it allows access to all of the USB and other ports. I'm sure it will provide some protection if the Chromebook gets dropped, but since there is no padding at all I would be it would be less protective than some of the cases with more padding on the inside or the outside. But it is exactly what they described, and it snapped onto the Chromebook with impressive precision. It's a keeper!

It turned my work IPAD into a mini laptop. The key board is small due to the size of the IPAD. I has to relearn some key placements when using the key board. It had made my job fast over all.

Love this! Works perfectly for the school issued Chromebook! So easy to install and looks cute too! Adds some color and my daughter loves that she can put stickers on it since she can't on the chromebook itself! Took a little longer to get to us, but worth the wait!

I have a Chromebook 11 3180 and it didn't fit on my device. It was too short and did not have a space for the rubber feet on the bottom to go. Good in theory, bad in practice.
