I don't know since I don't work for the company but they will be worth the wait, trust me, they are awesome to have in your color pencil pallet.

Absolutely!!! I use one faithfully and they sharpen beautifully

Are the Arteza metallic pencils was shiny as Derwent metallic pencils?

These are not particularly shiny unless you really burnish them like mad. The trouble with burnishing them is that it removes the colour. There is very little pigment in these pencils - much more wax as indicated by the softness of the lead and how many layers are needed to get a recognizable amount of colour on the page - especially if you are using them on black paper, as is my preference. I bought these to use myself, but after fighting them for a few hours (on a variety of papers) I tried to give them to the 9-year-old artist in our family. She became so frustrated with them that she brought them back to me and said, "These are junk. Did you actually buy them on Amazon? They're like Dollar Store baby pencils." We gave them to her younger cousin, who doesn't know the difference in art materials' quality.
