A 50% difference in my shoe's comfort!
So far, I have bought three pair of these, because the first pair was so good I couldn't help myself. Now I know that we all don't need ANOTHER review, but again, I couldn't help myself! :) I have been looking at these for awhile now, and it was only the other day that I decided to try them, I'm glad that I did. Not only did these work, they work very well. The FIRST PAIR (white) was for a brand new pair of Adidas walking shoes, they felt O.K., but with these, it made them REALLY comfortable! I walked on my treadmill and it made quite the difference. To say I was impressed, well, I was. I'd rate the comfort in these shoes as a 6 out of 10, (with 10 being best) but, it's the shoe, not the laces, I think, I'll get back to you on that if I find something different. The SECOND PAIR I bought was for an older pair of "tennis shoes" (that's what we call call them in Texas) that were really still very nice, even though they are probably around 15 years old. I rarely wear them, only to run out real fast, or something, the reason was that I bought them a size too small. I wear a 9-1/2 and these were a size 9... Anyway, they kind of hurt my feet if I wore them too long, hence why I rarely wear them, so after I put on my new GREY color shoe laces! (A guy in a Review above me complained because there were no grey colored ones, well, they do have them) These laces made such a HUGE difference that it was at least a 50 increase in comfort, I can only guess that since they were slightly too small, these stretch laces allowed my foot to expand horizontally, hence my newfound comfort. I just walked 30 minutes on my treadmill and they were perfect! I now not only have a comfortable shoes, I actually gained a new pair of shoes! :) I would rate these a 9 out of 10, I'd give them a 10 but I don't have enough use to really rate them. I love 'em though! So, today my THIRD PAIR arrived, they are for my hiking boots (that I never hike in), I just wear them everywhere. While the laces were very comfortable, this pair did not make me scream with joy, I liked it, a lot, but it was not a huge difference. I'd rate these at a 8 out of 10, again, I am unsure of the longevity, but my initial trial is that these are going to be good. The GOOD THING though is, I can slip on, and off, ALL of my shoes with ease, and that to me is a really good thing. I read a lot of complaints about how the snap closure doesn't work well, I found that to not be true in my case. You need to understand how they work, then you can make them work. You need to make sure that the lace is nowhere in the way of the snap, if it is, it won't close properly. Also, if you screw up, and I did, you can undo the snap by using a ball-point pen or something semi-pointed that is not sharp that you can poke into the end of it, that releases it. You can then try snapping them again, it ought to work fine. It makes an audible CLICK! when snapped correctly. For the people that lose them, I would almost bet that they never had them snapped correctly in the first place. Makes sure that you do your part correctly because these seem to be made very well and I can sure see how someone that isn't good at these things could have trouble. I had a little trouble on my first one, so I can relate. One more thing. I have also read Reviews where people say they they BROKE while tying them. Broke? Tying them? You don't need to tie them, you rarely need to pull on them if you install them correctly. These are designed to be a looser fit than a regular shoelace, and, they DO NOT need tying, not even a little bit. Look at the pictures, that will show you what you need to make yours look like. The way I have mine done there will be no way that I can ever break my laces, there are no knots, not tangles, no nothing to make it ever snap or break. If you adjust yours quite a bit I can see that wear can happen, but that would take a long while, I would think. Just something to think about. :) I know this is long, probably no one will ever read it, but In felt I needed to say how well these are! :) I'll be back for a report on how well they did after some time, just to make sure that I'm not giving credit if they are not what I said they were..

Much better than tie laces!
Bought a pair of barefoot style shoes on Amazon and they are wonderful. But the laces were so long, I was tripping over them. Decided to try these elastic laces though I've never had laces like this before. They were very easy to lace and following the included instructions, it was simple to attach the adjustment, trim the laces, and add the clasp to hide the ends of the laces. Easy peasy! And they look wonderful, allow slipping on and off the shoes instead of lacing and unlacing, and are the perfect length. No fuss, no muss, and look great!

Helpful for Disability
I’ve ordered a fair number of these over the years in a variety of colors. They’re a great option for my kid who has a disability preventing tying regular laces. I do need to be the one to set them up and lock them on. Once on they look sporty and make for a fairly easy on and off as well as tightening and loosening. My only issue is that sometimes the rectangular “lock” will pop open. If that happens there’s no getting it to stay shut again and I have to buy a new pair. That said, it doesn’t happen all the time. Usually the kid wears out the shoes long before the laces.

Taking off and on shoes made easier.
Very easy to install and it made putting on my shoes much easier. Taking my shoes on and off has become a lot more convenient since switching to these, and the laces stay securely tied—they never come undone, which is a big plus. The only issue I’ve had is related to my specific work situation. I stock shelves and sometimes sit on my knees while working, and the round button can press into the top of my feet and cause a little discomfort. I’ve ended up with some small bruises because of that. That said, this really isn’t the product’s fault—it’s just something to keep in mind depending on how you use it. If you plan on kneeling a lot for work like I do, you might want to consider a version without the button. Otherwise, it’s a great and helpful product that definitely makes daily use of my shoes easier.

Finally!
I don't have to tie and untie my shoes every time I put them on/take them off! After several surgeries my feet are not flexible and I can't just tie them once and slip them on and off like most people seem to be able to do. With this product I can finally take them off and slip them back on quickly. I can't wait to try them on my hiking boots. One word of advice: Wear them a while BEFORE you cut them to size. You might need more "wiggle room" than you think. I cut mine too short and they're too tight on my left foot unless I let them all the way out. Also: If you watch the video on S. Gardner's review, keep in mind she is installing the end tab BACWARDS and that's why it pops open. Make sure the hinge end is toward your ankle and the bigger end is toward your toes, at the end of the strings. Make sure the cut ends are completely enclosed inside the clip so nothing sticks out and it should work fine. Keep in mind that once you cut the laces, the ends unravel QUICKLY so work fast to secure them in the tab. If I do this again I wil immediatly wrap the ends in scotch tape to keep them intact as long as possible.

Great!!!
Works great on work boots! My fiance loves them, they click and keep his sneakers super tight and you don’t have to worry about laces coming undone or unborn little knots that ar preventing them to tie. Perfect size and even stretches out! Easy to use and feel great, just like regular laces! Worth the price and worth the money!! Especially if you got through laces every few months like he does, thank you

Works well, Questionable durability
They worked really well while they lasted. The clip was a pain to press to initially lace the shoe, but it works well to make my shoes easy to slip on with my orthotics. Unfortunately, one of my laces broke today after about 6 months of wear. I don't know if it was a faulty lace or whether I laced them too tight, but I don't think i can recommend them for durability.

Great product! Easy to use (comes with simple instruction leaflet), better than original no tie laces in my trainers! They are stretchy so you can pull them securely tight, but they also flex when you're walking or running.
