Great idea from Geomag, you get 12 sticks and 12 ballbearings along with a couple of base plates but the real stars of this set are the two spinning tops which can be inserted into the triangular plates. You can then build structures around these to create your own spinning tops. They spin for quite a long time and its a great little idea that I haven't seen from Geomag before. Priced about right at £22 for Geomag, which is usually quite pricey as a brand. I have done a quick video showing you what you get in the box and how the spinners work, I hope you find it useful.Good fun and happy to recommend!

Simple and fun. You can make all sorts of shapes and figures with the magnetic sticks and the magnetic balls. A lot of fun but definitely only suitable for older children as the magnets can be a chocking hazard for younger children.

The options for creating new shapes, structures, construction & objects is pretty much limitless, they are sturdy, very easy to use, the set can create hours of learning, it is a great construction set for STEAM learning through play, a really good activity for children to keep them occupied & off computers / technology also.

The geomags sets continue to be excellent STEM toys for kids. This particular set add in the concept of movement in addition to the usual building with magnets. It’s a great idea and a lot of fun.

I would buy this as a stocking filler or child’s birthday present. It’s very strong magnets and apart from the fact it’s very easy to use, it’s all self explanatory plus you can use your imagination. He made the top and has now got it dangling from his ceiling . Plenty of pieces, 3@ in fact so you can really be very versatile with this. Good value

Simple concept but really.alot of fun to play and mess with ..you can do all sorts with these and I feel these are great value for money. Great gift idea as an unusual kit for the kids
