“When you were born, you cried while the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries while you rejoice.”― Ancient Sanskrit saying Does the gem of wisdom quoted above strike a chord deep within you? If so, then this very special book by leadership guru Robin S. Sharma offers 101 simple solutions to life’s most complex problems, ranging from a little-known method for beating stress and worry to a powerful way to enjoy the journey while you create a legacy that lasts. Other lessons include “Honor Your Past,” “Start Your Day Well,” “See Troubles as Blessings” and “Discover Your Calling.” If you are finally ready to move beyond a life spent chasing success to one of deep significance, this is the ideal book for you. Review: Great devotional - I used this book and another of Sharma’s books, The Greatness Guide as morning devotionals: short doses of wisdom, quotes, reflective writings from his life that served to positively frame my days. This is a great companion to other tools like exercise, meditation and prayer for me. I highly recommend it as a devotional or for just a good read to add to one’s knowledge and perspective. WELL DONE AND A GREAT INVESTMENT OF TIME. Review: An Inspirational Read! - A beautifully written book filled with inspiration! There are so many life lessons here that I can incorporate in my life starting tomorrow! I can’t wait to put what I have learned into practice!

Good but Slow
It’s a good read, yet at times I felt I should have readA Monk Who Old His Ferrari first as it is referenced a lot. So much so I wonder now if I should read it or if it’s the same or similar lessons.

A guide for a fuller life
The book is written as short chapters quickly readable as something you can use as a pocket guide for daily advises. In the end you get a better notion on how to look at life from a more positive perspective.

Wish I could get the ugly stickers off
All I am asking is why put a thank you sticker upside down directly on a book???

Kurzweilig, informativ, lesenswert

The messages in this book are life changing
I like this book so much that I ordered extra copies and I give them away as gifts. Every person in the world would find something that he or she can directly relate to. This is a book that makes my heart feel so good. It is a perfect book to read before going to bed. If the words that you read are the last thoughts in your mind before you fall asleep, you will not only have a good sleep, but you could wake up in the morning with an answer to a question that you have had on your mind. Whether this question was conscious or not, you could receive an answer. There are many things in this book that I can refer to. One of my favorite quotes is: " Every second you dwell on the past you steal from your future." I agree with this because we cannot re-live yesterday, but we can learn from yesterday and move on from there.
