Shockproof Phone Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy J7 V 2017 (1st Gen) / Galaxy J7 2017 / Prime/Perx/Sky Pro/Halo [Black]

This case fits very well, is easy to apply (and remove, if needed). The cutouts are precise, though as others have noted, the side speaker is covered. Despite this, the sound quality, somewhat surprisingly, seems unaffected. The power and volume buttons work well with the case in place. It slides into a pocket easily, and cradles in the hand nicely. If there is any minor nit to pick, I would say that the polycarbonate outer shell material on the sides, where you typically grip the phone, is a little slicker than I would like. As I said, a minor point. It appears that it will provide reasonable shock protection, though fate has not yet tested that aspect of the case's performance. In sum, an attractive, functional, well-made case.

I've been using this case since I've purchased it Sept. 2017. Since using this case, my phone has been dropped too many times to count, has been thrown, slammed, drooled and chewed on by a toddler and baby, BUT, my phone still works perfectly fine. No damage on the phone, no cracked screen, NOTHING! And my phone has been thrown on the screen several times! This case has also protected my phone from water damage; my phone has been dropped in the sink twice while it was full of water. Immediately took the case off, and there really wasn't that much water IN the phone itself. Outside,a little, but not inside. I am a BIG fan of these cases. THEY WORK! If you have kids who are very handsy and like to grab everything in site, you NEED this case for your phone!

Well fitting case and appears to be good quality. The outside is kind of slippery.

2 pieces. Put the soft rubbery piece over the back of the phone paying attention to lining it up with the side buttons. Line the hard piece up with the left side button first making sure you get a good fit into the hole made for it. Apply slight pressure and the hard piece will go right in place giving a reasonable grip and comfortable feeling when holding the phone. This case wraps all around which I love because dust particles can't get into the tiny grooves of the covered parts of the phone. The only slight 'con'.. and it's not even a huge deal.. is the charging port part is kinda thick and I had to use a cord with a smaller end. Not a biggie. Well packaged. Recvd on time.

i had dropped my Samsung Galaxy J7 SkyPro a couple of times in the last few weeks and chipped the corner of the cheap plastic case that came with the phone. i knew it was just a matter of time when i would do it again and perhaps break the screen. so i bought this case and it fits like a glove. the first layer is the soft rubber that protects the back and edges and it's held on the phone by adding the hard back cover. this case fits well and the buttons now work more easily than they did with just the phone itself. the back has a lot of hard plastic 'nibs' that give it some sticking power when laid on most surfaces and the soft edges are really easy to hold and give the feeling of security. Money Well Spent! highly recommended!

I purchased my phone, case, and screen protectors together, not expecting much based on previous reviews. Honestly, I chose this case because it happens to be my favorite color and shade (black is a shade, not a color. It is the absence of color.) After over a year and countless drops/throws/damage to this phone, the case remains remarkable unscathed! It has exactly 2 scratches and 1 tiny gouge. The phone itself has remain completely safe and has exceeded the product reviews when i bought it. I think the case has so much to do with that and I am super grateful! I can't afford to buy a new phone, so the investment in the case feels like a great decision! Thank you for the quality of the case! When I do finally upgrade my phone, I will definitely return to you guys to buy a new case!

This case was really doing a great job, the buttons all worked, it fit snug, but one night I dropped my phone at the gas station. The phone landed flat face down but the screen still shattered anyway. I get these cases to help absorb the shock from falls. The one I had on my last phone did a great job of taking the percussion from the falls for as long as the phone functioned, but this one did not hold up. Obviously it's not solely the case's fault that the screen didn't survive what should have been a harmless landing, but if it cant save the phone from a flat fall then I could easily just get a cuter case for the same price.

I have an old phone - Galaxy Halo - so it's hard to buy a case online that fits. This case fits perfectly and was easy to pop on. My phone is easy to hold, and while the case is durable, it doesn't add a lot of weight to my phone. I think the buttons on the sides are even easier to use now. I got the green/aqua color just so I could see my phone when I put it down and walk away and then forget where I put it. Price point is great too!

Not comfortable to use but it is ok for now...

The volume up and down buttons do not match those of the phone.
