Purchased this cable after endless research of the perfect connection between a digital mirrorless camera and an external recorder. The goal was to find angled cable, thin and metal shelled case to be used with Panasonic Lumix S5 mirrorless and an Atomos Ninja V recorder. The cable feels cheap in the hand, with the metal shell not well machined (some irregular edges) and the cable itseld feels super light in the hand. But I think it's okay considering the price. One edge seems to be scratched without even using it. I have a video rig as I work as freelance videographer. Long story short, even setting the Atomos on compatibility mode, which usually solves hdmi issues with cheap cables, this cable works at 4K 60fps (didn't do extensive tests though, but at least it's showing signal), 8bit only 4:2:0. At 10bit, 4:2:2 no signal is shown. Also RAW signal isn't even recognised. So if you're planning to use to record 4K 60fps @10bit 4:2:2 or RAW video, forget about it. This is a little bit of a surprise as the description states that the cable is hdmi 2.0 compliant, and the official spec includes 4k 60hz(fps) @ 10bit 4:2:2. Furthermore, the specification mention the bandwidth is 18gbps, which allows also to record 12bit RAW signal. I've tried the cable on other devices outputting both 8/10bit signal, at 4K 60hz, and I get the same result. From my laptop I couldn't even make it work at 8bit at the tje mentioned resolution and refresh rate. To me it seems the manufacturer just wrote hdmi 2.0 just to sell its cable. I don't know if my unit is faulty, not fully keen to order a new one and getting the same result. Although I was skeptical since the beginning, considering the price of 9£. Shame, I thought I've found the perfect cable. EDIT: out of curiosity I've ordered another left angle cable and a right angle as well. Same outcome. This cables aren't HDMI 2.0 but they're advertised as hdmi 2.0. Thesee should support 10bit and 4:2:2, but it isn't the case. 4k 60hz/fps isn't supported at 10bit. Please distributor /reseller contact the manufacturer and get the cables adhering to the specs, or change the description, so next time I'll l avoid wasting my time, amazon courier's time, hassle for Amazon itself, as now I'll probably return tjese products as they're falsely advertised as hdmi 2.0. If you need to record externally to a video recorder, avoid these cables.

Just recently bought and tested the 5 metre hdmi cable variant, with it connecting a video camera (BM Micro Studio 4K G2) to a capture card (BM DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K) and worked fine.

Ordered at is product and The first cable was defective. I selected the option to receive the replacement cable. I installed it and it was defective too. I confirmed by switching out the HD I from a TV in a different room to make sure and I saw te image and had sound with the cable I already owned. save yourself the headache and avoid
