My Dream Bug-out Stove!!!
I've been writing a prepping (and finance) site for over 25-years now and this (and the Napier back of pickup truck popup shelter) are the first two products I have gotten amped about in years. The welding is solid all around. Screws fit. Package is solid and it's big enough that four people can get a meal at once. Here's the problem with rocket stoves: Too small and you get maybe enough hot water for one pouch of freeze dried. No-go because that's not enough to share (and make coffee). The grill on this is bie enough for both coffee pot and a 2 quart saucepan. Food, coffee, and an amen! Most of the other designs while energy efficient (tons of insulation) don't give off much radiant IR heat, this one is all the good things about a camp fire with better fire control, a very well-designed damper and it's doesn't feel "chintzy." No more "smoked hands". Believe me, I have been keeping an eye on the welding shop scrap yards around East Texas and I don't think with a TIG and plasma cutter I could design and build anything better. Time is worth something. Well done! Thanks for making a capable product for the real hunters, fishermen, and preppers. Take this - and a little cheapy tent stove if you tent has a smoke jack, and you can kiss goodbye to propane runs. Solar LED lights and a half rack of Shiners, if you insist! Ham radio Parks On The Air or cold weather? Bring it on!

I like it
It weight fairly decent and is quite sturdy. I used wood coal with this set up, at first, you can smell fumes from paint being burn off. I suggest to Keep burning some wood/coal to burn off fumes from factory paint/coating. Once the chemical smells gone, it’ll be safe to cook on it. It works good, cook well, no complaint. Came out of the box with no damage and all pieces are there.

Impressive heat output and potential from this little stove
it was missing the screws that hold the feet on but it's really the best small stove. I just boiled down sap on the thing, I couldn't believe it got that hot and it did it off small wood. Cooks great and pretty portable. You will have to give it more frequent attention but that's the trade off with the fuel. For what it consumes, it puts out great cook fire. The fact it comes with the plate, grill, and stand for pots is really nice.

A good option
This stove is a good option for hunting camp and around the ranch, appears solid and works as advertised.

Brillant design and construction
Excellent design, I put in 4 screws, loaded it with dry grass, used one match, and it was off to the races. It burns extremely well due to the unique design. Honestly I was very impressed. I bought this mainly for a way to make hot water to feed my family in emergency situations. But it is so versatile I know I'll be using it all the time. And I like that it's safe, and easy to control the flames. The best bang for the buck I've seen in quite a while. I spent many hours reviewing and comparing all the similar models. Glad I chose this one. Seriously, you won't regret adding this to your emergency solutions.

Nice stove
Large, heavy and great to use on the patio. Large to carry for camping if space is an issue. Perfect for patio or outdoor use if fixed in a place.

Well built
I have not used the product yet but it is well built, heavy duty and with lots of flexibility. Took 5 minutes to assemble. Purchased it for the ability to cook with a wood fire for a grid down situation or camping. Offering a carrying case or storage case would be a bonus. Likely will use an old roller board luggage to store and transport.

Works well but you have to use it a few times to learn your cooking temperature and fuel source
Came as shown. Everything fits great. On the griddle it does no keep heat very long. Have to constantly restock fire. Would be better with a door on the firebox to keep heat in.

I was always fascinated with rocket stoves and had even built one myself using bricks. I wanted something portable you can take camping or easily store away but also something solid and well built. This one does the job. I love it, it's just fun to have and play with. Also gives some peace of mind knowing that during a power outage, I can easily prepare a hot meal.

I didn't have high expectations for this but it has definitely been surpassed any that I had. The build quality actually feels pretty sturdy, not flimsy sheet metal like I was expecting at this price. I see no issues with this thing falling apart or failing to do what it's intended purpose was. Comes with the grill and a griddle top to switch between depending on what you plan to cook, and the griddle top is heavy too so again, not flimsy metal as expected. Overall I recommend this to anyone who needs a portable stovetop. You can't beat the quality at this price that's for sure.

It's actually a really good meaning that I wasn't expecting much. Almost thinking I was going to return it, but then, after using it and seeing how well built it was and how good the fire kept going and the minimal amount of wood that you have to use to keep it going, such as you could use a palette. For 6 hours of fuel, I was completely sold. It only took a few Minutes to cool down after using it, to pack it up and put it away. The only thing I could possibly suggest to make it. Any better would be to thrill two holes into the feet, so you could drill it onto a piece of wood so you could take it upside down to dump out the coals once you're done .

The stove itself is very well made, of robust materials. There was some damage in shipping, the ring support stand had a good dent in it, preventing it from fitting onto the main body. Since I'm an aircraft mechanic, it required little effort to reshape the ring to fit. That, and some scrapes on the main body will be covered by a dash of stove paint. That's all cosmetic. The stove itself is SOLID, and works very well. Easy to light, and burns a long time with a VERY hot flame once it gets going. I even used damp wood in my test. While I have no immediate need for the huge cast iron griddle part, I'm sure it will come in handy someday. I gave this four stars because of the damage during shipping. Minimal assembly, by the way.

Great backyard or car camping stove. The cast-iron round is quite large and gets piping hot with minimal wood. Heat distribution with the round is amazing. Pancakes cook perfectly evenly. The grill is hot in the centre but that's to be expected. You can lower the heat by adjusting the amount of wood or the air vent opening. Definitely recommend it.
