I wear a size 8 and they fit perfectly! I also have arthritis in a joint in my foot just 1 toe and snug or tipped shaped shoes scrunch that bone and it leaves my foot in agony by the time I get home from work, these shoes are comfortable, complete foot coverage, lightweight, easy to walk in, they are flexible in ways I didn’t know shoes could be, I would recommend this shoe to anyone who has trouble with foot pains or even walking pains it felt like I was barefoot all day even though I was in shoes! Absolutely love love love these shoes and will most likely never go back to any other shoe!

Would recommend and will buy more colors! Excellent value! I was looking for a zero-drop, wide toe box shoe at an affordable price because I have been training my ankles/feet (retraining my body as a hypermobile person) but did not want to spend $100+ on the more popular ones. I purchased these about a month ago and they have become my go-to. I wear them as an every day shoe, walking, and lifting. They have held up well so far. Ive just put them in the washing machine and let them air dry for the first time, and they look brand new - no wear and tear to the stitching or leather, no pilling, etc. I am using a shoe protecting/waterproofing spray on them. They are fine on a rainy day but not waterproof - stepped in a deep muddy puddle, socks were soaked (hence the washing machine). I’m typically a 9-9.5, sometimes prefer wide depending on the style, I got these in a 9W and they fit comfortably. Color is as shown.

If you like to feel the ground under your feet, this is a really nice, thin-soled, flat sneaker. I got a US size 9 in black with the "gum" soles. The shoe is well-made, the soles have good traction. There's a suede band reinforcing the lace holes that adds strength and a nice touch of style. The fabric is a plain, fine mesh, but opaque - you can't see thru it, there are no tiny holes in the mesh. The inner lining and footbed is tight and well-made. The toe box is nice and wide, so these are *very* comfortable. My only complaint, and the reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5, is that the length is just a tiny bit short. My toes bump up against the top a bit, which shouldn't happen - there should be a little bit more space at the top. They don't come in half-sizes, tho. I also wish they would make a slip-on version. Otherwise, this is a great and inexpensive sneaker for those of us who like really minimalist footwear.

The toe box is the widest I’ve ever experienced, yet the shoes don’t look clownish at all. While barefoot shoes typically require a slow transition, these felt so comfortable right out of the box that I immediately stopped wearing my other shoes and started wearing these exclusively. And to put it in perspective, I normally wear brands like Nike, New Balance, Birkenstocks, and Tevas—all known for comfort—but none compare to these Whitins! If you have wider feet (I wear C width), these shoes will change your life! They have the perfect amount of cushioning to let you walk on hard surfaces for hours while supporting your journey to stronger feet and legs, better balance, a lower risk of hip fractures from falls, and fewer foot problems (like bunions and plantar fasciitis). I recently tried on a pair of Vivobarefoot Primal 3 women’s cross-training shoes that cost $120 and couldn’t believe the difference. The Vivobarefoots had a narrower toe box that prevented toe splay, while the Whitins allow my toes to stretch out much more. Walking in Whitins feels like walking barefoot at the beach--comfortable yet will tone those leg muscles up! Since wearing these, I feel like a new person—more balanced, more stable, and more rejuvenated. I am also less afraid of falling and breaking a hip in the future. These shoes aren’t just comfortable; they’re life-changing. Thank you, Whitin! UPDATE: The superlatives do not end. Over the past few months these shoes have allowed my feet to expand and strengthen. My feet are stronger, more muscular, and more stable than they have ever been in any point in my life. I bought a pair of the Lems Primal Zen shoes, which are also extremely comfortable and I have to say the Whitins are just as comfortable at only a fraction of the cost. The only downside is that as your toes expand and your muscles strengthen you might need to buy a bigger pair of these shoes! Don't let the inexpensive price fool you--these are hands down one of the most comfortable barefoot shoes available on the market today!

These barefoot shoes are perfect for work. My toes have ample space to move around and just BE. I wear them with no socks which to me makes these more comfortable and freeing. I’d recommend getting your size in the ‘wide’ version for lots of room. I’m going to buy these in every colour!! EDIT: 6 months later they fit and feel amazing. Really great quality. I wear them for everyday use (work, errands, casual outings).

These shoes arrived labelled, ‘women’s tennis shoes‘. They are quite heavy. They are wide in the front, and as it is a knitted material on top, don’t feel very stable either. The soles feel chunky.
