Black Acera Rear Derailleur RD-M360

I went through several derailleurs - each one with their own problems - until I took a chance on this one. It's so well-made and accurate, that I bought three of them for my three ebikes. I also like the cable pinch bolt more than the standard nut - easier to loosen/tighten when necessary to install/adjust the cable.

My son's friend ran his derailleur into his spokes. I bought this as a direct replacement. It is easy to install and set up.

My ebikes came stome with a Shimano Tourney and while it was an alright derailer it didn't shift the smoothest even when new and it made a lot of sound.Last week I ran over a log on the trail and bent the derailer so figured I would see what $40 bucks would get me.Wow is all I can say this derailer shifts so smooth and it's quiet as well. Install took me 10 min and getting it indexed took a other 10 min.I like this so much I just ordered 3 more to replace the tourneys on my wife's and kids bikes as well

Wide range of derailleurs from which to choose, but this was a good choice for strong reliable operation on an older mountain bike rebuild. The high/low adjustment allow precision limiting to keep the chain where it belongs.

Super fast delivery. Great quality. As described.Took me 15 min to install. Another 10 min to adjust. After that I took a 5 mile ride and it worked without any problems.Highly recommend for a budget derailleur.Thanks

This derailleur is good for the price. It is definitely not for a down hill mountain bike. It does bounce quite a bit and will throw the chain but I'd yiu need something quick that will shift it will work.

Super easy to install. I marked the cable, removed broken derailleur, re-installed new one and only had to adjust the cable tensioner 2 notches.

I bought this Derailleur to put on an old 8 speed bike to give away to someone who needed a good bicycle to ride. It was just what I needed and is working just fine. There are a lot of folks who think that a lower grade component is not any good, but I can tell you that this is a Shimano and it is way better than I had in the 60's or 70's in the top line stuff.

Bei meinem alten Giant Freerider aus 1990 hat die Spannfeder der Shimano STX RC Schaltung nachgelassen. Bei diesem Fahrrad wurde ein 7 fach Zahnkranz verbaut. Ich hatte dann als beste Schaltung die Shimano Acera gefunden weil die Alivio und Deore erst bei 8 fach bzw 9 fach zu finden sind. Ok, ich dachte mir dann nehme ich die Acera weil ja nichts besseres zu bekommen ist. Ich muss sagen tiptop, ich bin mit dem Schaltverhalten sehr zufrieden.

Derailleur arried promptly. My First impression was it looked very sturdy & well manufactured. The hanger for the derailleur is very substantial & solid , massive improvement on my old TX model which is just a metal plate & is very easily bent. The Acera model makes my old TX model look very out dated' brilliant upgrade.Fitted derailleur to my old bike with no issue total straight swop & was adjusting the gears within 10 mins.. Not that I needed them but full instruction on how to fit & adjust would be nice.Took bike out for a ride after install all worked well nice clean gear changing. Unlike my old TX which was worn out after 15 years of use. Didn't do bad.Highly recommend to anyone thinking of upgrading your old Shimano TX or TY Derailleur.
