Comfortable!
I'm planning a two-month trip and wanted a new pair of black sneakers for the trip. I have wide feet and always buy shoes that are wider than normal. When I saw these shoes on Amazon I was intrigued by the wide toe box. Also, the price ($45.99) was right! The other day I received the shoes and tried them on. Sure enough, there is plenty of space in the toe area. When I ordered the shoes, I was a little concerned because they don't come in half sizes. I wear a men's size 7.5, so I had to order either a size 7 or 8 (I didn't want to order both and then have to return one). I opted for a size 7 and was pleased they fit just fine. To be honest, these shoes do look a little funky because of the wide toe box, but it's not bad and the comfort is worth it.It'll be a few months before I know if the comfort holds up and/or if the shoes are durable, but if my opinion changes, I'll be sure to update this review.

Indepth Review and Comparison
I have been looking for a decent pair of wide toe box, zero drop shoes. It is not as easy as one might imagine. My tried and true brand is declining dramatically in quality and I have stopped buying their shoes. I tend to be active and walk 5-7 miles a day with a 30 lb weighted vest and ankle weights. I am hard on athletic shoes.I am comparing this Bronax navy colored shoe to the Whitin grey wide toe box shoe. I am a woman and wear a size 41. This Bronax is a man's shoe.Comfort - 5/5I am pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the Bronax shoes. As you can see from the pics they have more cushion than Whitin. The tongue is long enough to be comfortable as it is not jabbing into the front of my ankle.Sizing - 5/5After trying 20 different pair of shoes (that was a fun return) I was pleased that the Bronax sizing was fairly accurate. I wear a 41 and it felt like a 41. Even well known brands seems off on their sizing these days.Height - 5/5As you can see from the pics with the measuring tape the Bronax is a higher shoe. Partly due to cushion but the fabric portion is also more substantial.Style - 5/5The Bronax just looks nice and like a quality shoe.Price- 5/5Nice bang for the buck at $45.Durability - ?I don't know. Will update this review when I know more.Whitin/BronaxThe Bronax is a more substantive shoe and feels like it might take a beating over time and not fall apart. The Whitin is more minimalist. Comfortable but less cushion and the cushion is more rigid. I personally like this for certain situations. There is 1 issue with Whitin that is odd. It feels like the cushion is not one flat piece but has holes (to reduce materials needed) and I can sort of feel the holes. It's not dramatic but might be after a few miles of walking. I will try one of my i soles and see if that helps. I didn't have this experience with Bronax. In the end I might keep both shoes. But if I could only have 1 shoe I would keep the Bronax.I really applaud Bronax for creating a good wide tox box zero drop shoe. Clearly it's not easy as I tried 20 different companies which included some well known brands. The more well known brands are increasing in price and declining in quality which makes room for a company like Bronax. Let's hope they keep making good shoes!!

Great shoes
I am a woman with big feet that have outgrown the biggest women's shoes. So I decided to try a pair of men's shoes. I am very happy with them. I love the wide toe box and hope that eventually my toes will spread out to the normal position. I have two problems with the shoes. The first waa the lacing. It was backwards to the way I have always laced my shoes. But that was easily fixed. I did find the black strip on top of the tongue awkward to lace so skipped it at first. Then I realized the tongue on the right shoe was crawling backward toward its base. So I had to put the laces under the black strip again. But that strip makess unlacing when I remove the shoes difficult. The left shoe has remained the way I first put it and unlaces without difficulty. The second problem is not enough arch support. I have severe overpronation in the left foot which causes my foot to flop inside the shoe without additional support under the arch. But overall I am very happy with the new shoes. I am walking more comfortably than I have in some time.

Very nice shoes
These shoes are excellent. Bought then along with toe splitters to help correct my feet. They are wide enough to accommodate me wearing them with the toe splitters and socks. The shoes feel great, so comfortable, and they look great too.

Better than Altra !
For years, I could only run in Altra, and ongoing I've been buying new ones. But year by year the quality has determined, and it's now at such a low point that I need to find another solution. So far Bronax has past the test. They have equally wide toe boxes, the interior fabric does not wear out, and the sole is protective and has a good grip. On the negative e side, they do not fit tight around the heal, and they make an annoying, squeaking sound, while walking or running.

Fantastic!!
I'm between a 39 & 40, ordered the 40, great fit. I do allot of pavement walking and the really flat/thin soled barefoot shoes I just can't do. I end up with really painful blisters on the bottoms of my heels. These are great! A little more cushion in the heel of the sole is great! I got them yesterday, took them for a jog outside this morning and they were SO comfortable. I have never had wide toe box shoes I could jog in. My feet will be thanking me. I will definitely be ordering more in different colors.
