Digger’s 1-Quart Heavy-Duty Wire Baskets for Plants - Control Gopher, Moles, & Voles (6 Baskets)

This are small gopher cages that workd great to keep seedlings safe in the ground. Other years we have lost 12/24 plants to hungry gophers, but this year after using these small cages we only lost one plant and the gopher went over the top of the basket. They were pretty easy to pull up at the end of the season and are ready for this years planting. We bought extra for our other vegetables this year.

Great quality. Heavy duty baskets. These small sized baskets protect the roots great but did not protect my plants from the desperate gopher in my yard who dug a hole next to the basket and munched the stems of the plant from the top.

Used it to protect fruit on the vine from squirrels. It worked. They will still go after tomatoes etc but it slows them down enough for them to get distracted till I can save em

Works as described plus air conditioner guy found nest in air conditioner unit and we put one of these in hole animal made to fix the problem!

If I could I would leave 100 stars for these baskets. I have been battling gophers and voles in my garden for years- poison, snap traps, wire etc. and nothing has worked. It is so depressing to go out in the morning and see all your starts pulled down a hole (gophers) or bitten off at the stem (voles). The baskets were easy to install and so far, 10 days later, the plants are all still there. Thank you NG Inc. I'll be ordering more. I hope they last many a season.

Within less than a full season, every one of these that I had deployed (for my VERY expensive lily bulbs) and been chewed right through, and the bulbs eaten completely. I really, really wish these worked. They are much easier than my hand-constructed hardware-cloth baskets, but they just do NOT work. So I have returned to building my bulb baskets out of 1/4 inch hardware cloth. Sorry to be bearer of bad news...

I've used these on small plants, and the larger models on new plantings of small trees and shrubs. They are great for keeping rodents away from the new roots.

These work perfectly for gopher protection for small plants. I really have found them useful and highly recommend them for small plant protection.
