Not expansive and works fine
Bought as a second panel for my small workshop/shed. This has now been running for 48 hours and seems fine to me. Gives out a similar amount of heat to another similarly sized panel from another supplier. Good for small areas. Cheap to run too if the information is correct.👍

Overall not too bad
Every one is raving about these new heaters I thought I'd give it a try. Very small, light weight and is wall mountable. This does produce a good amount of heat but it's early days and the weather isn't cold enough to give it a proper review. Says 180w which is the reason for purchasing but I've got it registered as 193w so not entirely accurate in the description they give but not bad enough to return it. Overall 4* as the wattage is higher than stated and it is very small.

Cheap to run
I have 2 of the small panels and one large. The small panels are ideal for one person, next to you in a home office or beside a sofa or armchair.I’m very careful when it comes to energy use at home and bought these as we only really use the lounge for most of the day/evening. I used the 2 smaller panels and our bioethanol fire last winter but my youngest is mobile now so decided to upgrade the panels instead of having the fire going, kids manage to get into everything they shouldn’t!The large panel works as I expected, heats up extremely quickly, doesn’t leave ‘cold spots’ around the room and as long as the door is shut, it doesn’t need to be on very long to keep a comfortable temperature.Of course it is cheaper than having the boiler running and heating the whole house and uses little more than a third of all the fan heaters that companies claim are cost efficient and low energy (even though they run at 2kw!)The only negative point about these heaters is the power lead, being 2m, they aren’t long enough to mount the panels on our ceiling without having to run extension cables up the wall. Other brands have optional 5m leads that you can purchase and it would be ideal if the manufacturer could make panels with the same. Also for those that aren’t aware, you can buy a thermostat plug which will switch the panel on or off for around £25 on amazon and maintain the room at the temperature you desire without you having to plug and unplug the panel throughout the day

Disappointed to much flex and fixing method disappointing
Bought this for son’s bedroom . Hopeless. Fixings mean it can not be fixed flush on the wall so tilts down like a hanging a picture. When it heats up it buckles. Yes it gets warm but looks awful. Sent back and got a refund

Seems to work OK - update!
Convenient to place in front of a bookcase when not in use. Only used in earnest once so far to take the chill off by raising the temperature a couple of degrees. Did not take long. No problem to control temperature - simply unplug!Update: We have been using it regularly over the last week and it raised the temperature from 17° to 20° in 2-3 hours. Is maintaining living room temperature at 20° so I am buying timer plugs as should not need in all the time. I have now bought the newer 180w version (1 third the size!) for the upstairs landing. I have also ordered the 350w version to give occasional boosts to the living room one if it is needed in the winter. Some people have complained that it does not come with feet. If it did you would be paying for them even if you wall-mounted it. Feet are optional although ridiculously expensive. We have solar with a battery so hopefully we will almost be able to do without gas. We have not used gas for 4 months.

Not really decided on its effectiveness
Not sure if it’s my understanding how far infrared heaters work, but I’m not really sure if this is working or giving it a chance. It feels like I have to be close to this 360w panel to feel any heat. I can when I’m close to it (around a metre). Which is better than having a small 2k fan heater on all the time and will save me money in the long run but I thought it would be more effective heating up other objects around the room, and myself.Build is ok, lead is ok length. It just looks like a big white ceiling tile. It’s to be used mainly in the basement as it’s cold in the spring and summer, around 16 degrees so need warming up a bit. Won’t be really able to tell when it’s winter.

It is alright
The panel works. I bought a small one to try it out and it does heat up pretty quickly. If you sit within 50 cm of it, there is a clear feeling of warmth and it doesn’t use that much electricity. However, there is no remote control in the box despite it being advertised. So two stars.

150w so don't expect the heat at the level of the sun
We feel heat from radiated heat. Such as directly from the sun. Or conducted heat. Directly such as touching something hot. Or indirect from heated air that warmed by being in contact to something hot. Such as domestic radiator. 150w is the amount of heat the panel puts into the room. This is in the form of radiant heat. An oil filled 150w heater puts the same amount of heat into the room. But in the form of conduction into the air which causes convection as the hotter air rises. Both are 100% efficient in turning 150w of electricity into 150w of heat. The benefit of infra red is it warms the object directly in front. Where convected heat spreads around the room and loses heat to cooler objects within it. Or lost to outside through drafts. So if you want to warm a room. Use convection. If you want to focus heat such as patio or one small area then use radiant heaters. But remember 150w of heat in a cold or drafty room . The colder air might be removing heat from you quicker than the heater can warm you. The net effect will feel like the heater is not effective.
