I use the smallest/detailing brush for precise highlighting (under eyebrows, on nose, and defining highlight on cheekbones); the smaller fan brush for my blush, and the larger fan brush for my general highlighter/to blend all of my makeup together nicely. This process provides a lovely look with all of these brushes. I had never originally used a fan style brush with my blush, so I loved this change in my routine/setup and plan to stick with it from now on. I have multiple other brush sets from Star Beauty and these certainly held up the expectations I’ve developed for them! They’re extremely soft, durable, and nicely designed. If you’re looking for affordable, great quality brushes that will actually last; you’ve found them. Review: Kidding me??? - So where do I start..... 1.Cheap looking, cheap feel...and the worst synthetic I've ever seen... And that says a lot because we're talking about "synthetic ". 2. Pretty sure the dollar store has better quality. 3. Aluminum at the base of the brush... If I were going to actually use these then I would wash these as I do with all my makeup brushes.. and I'm pretty sure the "aluminum" will get nasty after a while... 4. The sharp edges ( photos attached) at the base of the brush: I clean my brushes and when I squeeze the excess out... Well, that's a nice little cut from those sharp edges. The sharp edges are on both larger brushes. The smallest brush doesn't have sharp edges however, the aluminum is already chipping so you can feel the sharpness starting where the chipping has already occurred. I absolutely do not recommend this at all.
