OBAGE HT-244 130 Watts 4.1 Home Theatre System with Optical in, Bluetooth 5.0, USB, FM, AUX

Writing this after over 10 days of useage. This home theatre delivers what it promises . Clarity is everything . Bass is not loud, but is very deep and you won't get tiered after listening with this deep bass. Music lovers who prefer to feel almost studio quality will love it . Every instrument is cristall clear. You will be surprised to notice that the instrument sounds don't get spread / fadeded into others , instead , it gives perfect as it is sould with instrument seperation. And it keep silent even after the spread of bass / treble. I had used MI sound bar, creative home theatre and samsung soundbar till date . Obage home theatre is totally different . Unlike other sound systems which process the sounds based on its signatures, this speakers gives balanced ,distortion free clear music. Normally, soundbars and home theatre systems will be fine tuned to perform well for producing movie sounds, but obage does perfectly well as a TV attachment for movie viewing and perfect for music listening . Don't expect too much fancy on the looks. Even the remote, preset equilisers don't give much of options. You may have to contented with normal settings for equiliser and use manual knob for setting up to bass and treble . But once it is done for your room settings, the sound it produces will give you satisfaction . I tried to use Android equiliser in mobile when playing contents from mobile phone. Even , increasing any settings from normal will only reduce the quality. If you increase mid, it also reduces bass and treble. Finally , after use of almost 10 days, foud the solution with Android eq. Set manual bass and treble at the maximum first. Use Android equaliser in the normal mode ( assuming every frequency already set maximum at zero, not beyond) .Then , start reducing frequencies in the eq accordingly , like reduce mid so that bass and treble will sound more. Reduce treble and bass so mid will sould more! Trust, even without doing any of the eq settings, it delivers perfect sound. As I live in flat , I never wanted loud bass , instead wanted deep bass with room filling listening experience , which normally is offered by high end music systems like Sony home theatre, but obage gives same high end sound quality with low cost. Perfect for music lovers and perfect for movie viewers . This is a two in one perfection , rarely offered by many sound systems. Trust ! You won't be tiered of listening it it's soud even if you listen to it for long hours. Most Value for money Quality ! Hope obage offers better after sales also

Overall sound quality is excellent. Highly recommended for classical and dj songs playback. Connectivity is also good, it automatically connectes to the previous paired device but by default it is always in AUX mode when it is powered ON, which I felt the only downside it should be in Bluetooth Mode for hassle free listening experience. Vocals are awesome, it doesn't make you feel fatigue on continuous listening for hours n hours even at full volume which I liked the most. Sound (particularly bass not vocals) distorts little bit at full volume but as the company also said it is not for loud listening. At medium volume its loudness and bass is quite enough to fill sound in the room of 15×10. It is made up of heavy mdf board and cabinet is also made big size which ensures the quality of bass, deeper and louder with minimal distortion which is at the upside. Many of the subwoofer cabinet vibrates and rotates while playing songs and are unable to produce optimum bass because of wrong enclosure of bass cabinet. But this is perfectly designed to avoid all these issues. It is highly versatile, I like its old school design wooden texture. Gives premium feeling. We get lot of connection options also, Like Optical input which is quite important these days if we want to connect it with Smart TV's for Hi-Res audio. Otherwise Bluetooth, AUX, SD Card, Pen Drive Slot is also there. Along with it we get remote also, build quality is average but range is effective. Functional remote!! Let's wait for the after sale service. Will update. But I think I will not require any customer support. I believe its quality, it will not be needed. Kam budget mai zabardast cheez hai. I have Philips HTL8162 Soundbar also but wo high volume pe acha bass deta hai. Ye low volume pe bhi acha bass deta hai bus isiliye maine isey purchase kiya. Low sound mai bhi ek acha deep bass or clear vocals sunne ko milta hai. Awaaz chubhti nahi hai, Aram se ghanto gaane sun sakte hain with clarity. Iske daam pe mat jaiyega ki sasta hai to cheap audio hoga, Ye paisa wasool product hai!!! Internet or YouTube pe bahut reviews dekhe the maine , bas yahi janna tha ki wakayi mai quality hai ya bass Hype bani hui hai but ye ekdm stand out karta hai apne budget ko. Mere bass Sony SA-D40 bhi hai but wo aisa sound ni karta jaisa ye bajta hai. You can go for it aankh band kar ke!! Obage waalo daam mat badha dena!!!

Product is awesome with voice clarity is too good at this price. We can use as normal speakers with TV without much bass. You experience bass only when there is a audio song in between Ad’s or while playing a song. Though bass is not too high you will enjoy music, it is not recommended for loud bass listeners. Individual speakers length is not just 5-6feet max, so if anyone require longer length you can additionally buy wire which can be connected as this comes in old style where you can join directly wire provided as no pin attached.

My research :I was looking for a system i can place to dmy workstation(my fun station). I am a hard core music lover of high quality music.I started my search for studio monitors to deliver the pure sound on which i can listen to the music how the artist is intended us to hear.Its a big NO NO for me for the bass boosted normal speakers.A good ststem studio monitors will put a big hole in my pockets so I started chexking for alternative budjet friendly options and my search ended in Obage brand. Reason to choose obage: the flat sound profile.the rugged /old school look. Please do not buy this. You guys, this is very bad. When I bought it it was fine in every way, the bass was good and the volume was also loud. But the problem started only after 3 months. First unnecessary noise started coming from two speakers, then I disconnected them, then after a few days noise started coming from the other two speakers. The sound is so ugly that it is beyond tolerance. And the sound has also become absolutely low. At the I want to only this please don't buy it. I think you should invest your hard earned money somewhere else where that thing can give you value.

Writing review after 10-day usage. Since last 1.5 years, I am using Obage Omeewa ST 607 2.1 single tower speaker (visible in photo), I am familiar with obage sound signature. While selecting this HT-244 4.1 system few points were in my mind (i) how much improvement will I get over existing ST607 (ii) does this more than 100W with woffer & 4 seprate satellites (each with tweeter & speaker) make any difference (iii) can I attach my existing 2.1 system to make effective 6.2 surrounded system? Let me share my experience. In one word "Wow!!!". Deep (not loud) tight bass, which also gives other sound frequencies equal opportunity to reach our ears. Pleasent experience, however, due to my preference, I have reduced the bass using bass settings (it has controls for bass, treble & volume on central unit, remote has only volume control). Though, default is balanced signature, in BT mode system provides pre-defined EQ settings (I like Classical), which help users preferring modified sound signatures. I tried with different placement of speakers (see photos) & arrived at final settings. Two satellites just below TV unit, other two on both side of central unit slightly above the floor. Now about what I felt. I experienced with youtube audiophile videos available to test high-end studio-minitors. I felt that this HT-244 justified all these audiophile videos, classical Indian instrumental (Sitar, Flute, Santoor) songs by delivering wonderful sound just like Sound Monitor. Here, I would not like to compare with pricy Studio Monitors, I simply concluding that for me it serve as 4.1 Studio Monitor system!!! 6.2 Surround System!!! Yes, I am able to connect my existing 2.1 system with this 4.1 HT 244 to make it 6.2 surround system (see photos). Placed 4.1 near TV unit, existing ST607 in mid-way of the room (my choice, however it can be in rear also). Used 3.5 audio splitter cable (out from TV headphone port). One RCA cable for splitter to HT244. Used 3.5 extension cable & feamale-to-female connector to reach at place where I kept my tower speaker. And now I enjoying this wonderful room filling (but sweet not loud) experience of my loved obage sound signature. Regarding remote... It will be good to see bass & treble controls on remote. Suggestions for purchasing this HT244 - If you are not loud-bass user, Just go for it. If you are loud listeners, just experience with Obage sound signature, it may change your mindset regarding other sound signatures. Thanks to Amazon for in-time delivery, even without any visible scratch on the box (!!!). Perfact boxing for inside units. No scratch on any of the speaker units & good looking well build wooden units. In short, just "wow!!", for Amazon & Obage.

Was very excited to use it. However at very first use, I noticed that 2 speakers were faulty and making crackling sound. Was very disappointed, hence 3 stars. With those 2 speakers removed rest sounded well. Thankfully I bought it via Amazon so I can get a replacement. Have placed replacement request and will update what happens. If one is after only bass-y music, STAY AWAY. This gives balanced sound and hear the instrument and vocals cleanly. Bass is there when you need it but doesn't overpower the mid and high of the music. I did feel this was not loud enough but with the balance sound it felt adequate. Box had RCA cable and an antenna cable and was missing RCA to RCA cable which i saw in some unblxing videos. RCA cable was of very bad quality and was creating problems with the connection and making noises.

I am writing this review after a usage of around two months. First of all, I would like to thank the owner brothers of Obage Music company for this amazing product for Indian market. I am deeply enthralled by the amazing sound quality of this 4.1 speaker unit which I purchased in Sept 2022. I cannot tell you in words the pleasurable experience my ears and mind is going through whenever I listen to my favourite tracks on this music system. I am going back to the songs which I used to hear in my college days all over again and realised that the plethora of sound effects which is emanated from variety of music instruments from those songs was never noticed by me earlier. Especially the Old A.R.Rahman tracks, Jagjit singh, classical indian music, Rock and heavy metal hits etc. are a treat to listen on this system. But I am even more impressed by another great feature of Obage music company - their 'After service support'. I mean this company is pure gem in terms of passionately assisting music lovers like me. I got a call from their respresentative on the next day of the receipt of the product and I was guided on how to install and use the speakers after unboxing. Then after two days, I was again contacted by them to know about my feedback after the burning period. I had to tell them that I am loving this product. I had not completely fitted these speakers as per my requirements during the initial month or so but when I finally decided to go ahead, I just messaged a 'hi' to their wtsapp no. I got a call back from Obage and I was assisted thoroughly on how and where should I place the speakers as per the size and accoustics of my room. After implementing their tips, I am totally awe struck for the sound quality I am getting from this system. I once again thank the complete Obage team for such line of products and helping audiophiles all over India in their quest for good, clear and amazing listening experience. Note: I have tried watching some action movies on this speakers as well and felt that theatre like sound quality here also. Though it is not a surround sound set up obviously, but the left-right channels perfectly do their job of producing cleanly separated music which gives a beautiful listening experience to the ears.
