This one gives way more volume than the white/peach-colored tube of Honest mascara. The other one has a thin wand and the mascara just seems gooped on there and hard to transfer to lashes. This one is like regular mascara and applies just the right amount. You can apply as much as you like. Nice stuff. The primer is debatable re necessity but I do use it.

I usually buy the Honest Mascara for lengthening. Not only did I over pay for this item $24, it does not work as well as the lengthening version. I have thin, sparse eyelashes and I was very hopeful that this would be amazing as the other one worked so well. Beware of price gouging as you can purchase the lengthening version on Amazon Fresh for just $13.99 The same item through regular Amazon is $20+ I do love this brand, but not the price. I will be sticking with the lengthening version from now on.

I bought this because I wanted a clean mascara and I have bought baby wipes that i like from this brand. I usually dont get mascara with a primer but this went on sale so i tried it out. The primer wand is very skinny and it easily catches my eyelid which is painful. The primer is blue in color and thin consistency and is easy to cover with the black mascara. The mascara brush is thick in size and has a blunt tip as opposed to a pointy tip which makes is difficult to get to the inner lashes. The whole brush is very wide so it hard to apply the mascara without getting it all over the bottom lashes. I like the mascara itself but the brushes make it difficult to apply comfortably. I probably wont buy again and I will continue my search for a good clean mascara. Another plus is it doesnt seem to flake into my eyes and it stays all day, so again the product i like its just the brushes not my favorite. ETA I was in a hurry one day and wanted to just use the mascara without the primer. If i used just one layer it didnt even look like I put on mascara. I had to put on two applications which normally no problem but I am not a fan on using that fat brush. Its very messy. And I have long lashes. The brush is so thick and fat it just pushes the lashes aside without applying much product to the lashes its so weird and then gets it on the lids. I will not be reordering.

Works well. Doesn’t seem inferior to any other product

I wanted to try this mascara since it’s a truly “clean” product and I’m trying to make small swaps here and there to get my cosmetics as clean and non-toxic as possible. The brushes are good on both the primer and the mascara, so applying it was fine. However, the formula just seems a bit dry to me. I had seen a few reviews mentioning a wet clumping, which seemed to be a flaw in the inner “scraper” falling off, so I thought I would give this a try. Of course I want a mascara that isn’t going to run off my face all day, but I do prefer a “wetter” formula for the application. Unfortunately this seemed a bit on the dry side from the first use. It seemed (to me) more like a mascara that’s been open for a couple months. The mascara did its job - it gave some volume and a slight bit of length, but not much. I’m going to continue my quest for the perfect clean mascara, and I’ll continue using this ‘til it’s gone or dries up completely, but I can’t say I would recommend it, and I won’t be purchasing again.

The headline sums it up. Not worth the price because it was dried out when it arrived and it doesn’t stay on the lashes. And a shamefully large amount of packaging what with two dispensers (one for a pre-application that seems to have no discernible value) means its all container and no mascara. Not environmentally friendly. Was just looking for a cruelty free product. It won’t be this one.

Healthy, nontoxic product. Nice mascara.

Okay in the beginning. After regular use (approx a few weeks) not sure what happens but mascara starts to flake off after a few hours of use. Annoying specs fall in your eyes during the day and can’t remove until you get home. Despite clean ingredients, wouldn’t recommend. I’ve already wiped off a bit of flakes in photo.

I have fine lashes, this mascara adds thickness to them in one quote. And as my eyes are sensitive to chemicals, the relatively clean formulation helps keep irritation at bay

This product gave me a big eye allergy I had to go to the doctor and get an antibiotic ointment

The mascara is empty. It’s just an empty plastic container. Complete scam
