Very configurable clock
Great clock because:1. It auto dims as the room darkens2. You can set the starting level of the alarm volume and it will get louder until you shut it off (I have mine set to 11 and it takes me about 30 seconds to hear it)3. Two alarms so I don't need to reset the alarm time based on the day and my varying wake up times4. USB port for phone charger is on the back of the clock where it won't block the screen5. Automatically sets time once you set the date.6. Backup battery is an installed Lithium. No 9V silliness hereIt does everything I need it to do and for a good price.

Actually works
Have bought other atomic clocks that did not keep time. It was initially 2 minutes off. I manually set it and now it's perfect. Resets after power failure. Keeps time. Easy to use.

Had a busted auxiliary port, still decided to keep it
My previous radio alarm clock had the digital display going out on it, so I decided to find a new one, ran across this one on Amazon. I was looking for something a bit more this time around, meaning one with a BlueTooth speaker I could pair my phone to.When I got this one, I was pleasantly surprised that it even had a digital FM station selector (my last one using a dial & sliding bar to show the station) and picked up stations better, but no AM stations like my old one (which didn't really matter, the only radio station I ever listen to is KBER 101 anyways).I will point out that the quality of the sound through BlueTooth was less than that of what I was getting over the radio, but this isn't why I docked a star on the rating of this device. The reason why I'm not giving 5 stars to this device is because the auxiliary cable input on the device was already dead when I got it, so while this is a function I "might" have used, I never really got the chance to use it & won't have the option to use it in the future... I didn't see the busted auxiliary input as enough of a reason to file for a return, but I did know I would be giving a lower score in my review because I lost one of the functions I should have had on this device that was paid for when I purchased it.One other note, the device uses button batteries (commonly referred to as 2032 batteries, usually trailing 2 letters) to keep it's settings during a power failure. These batteries can be harder to find (depending on the common stores you go to), but I've been buying CR2032 batteries in a 12-pack at Sam's Club, so you can find them if you know where to look. Also note that the letters really aren't the important part of the battery, provided the model number ends in 2032, it should still work in this device. Also note that the USB connection is NOT fast charging on Smartphones, but still serves it's purpose while you're sleeping.UPDATE: I noticed later that the alarm modes (both the buzzer & radio alarms) don't come on at full volume right off the bat, but increase over time, reaching its peak 1 minute after it starts. This is better than getting woken with a sudden blast of loud volume, just note that I haven't actually seen a separate volume control for the alarms, so it doesn't appear that the max volume can actually be adjusted.

Almost perfect
Finding a basic bedroom clock proved harder than I would have thought. After buying and returning several, I finally found this clock. It is real close to perfect. Quality construction, great features, good enough sound quality and not too bright. Dimming is easy and can be set from too dim to too bright. Controls are easy once learned, two alarms and both alarms can be set for different days of the week. So good I bought a second clock a few weeks later......

Bluetooth works well with my iPhone
UPDATE 14 months later: suddenly this radio no longer picks up some radio stations. I tried my 20 YEAR OLD radio, and I can pick up the stations clearly. So this radio has not lasted, something has gone wrong with it and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.I wanted to clock/radio/bluetooth speaker. This replaced my very old clock radio that had a port to set my iPhone on to charge - back when the ports were larger. I've been using my old iPhone as an iPod basically, but the battery has finally completed died to being unrechargeable, and the old clock radio isn't compatible with the new iPhones. I did not want a blue tooth charger, though, because I don't want to keep taking the phone out of the case. With this clock radio, the buttons are not intuitive. I have to read the instructions every time I want to do anything, like, how to switch from the radio to bluetooth. How to switch back. How to turn off BT. Setting the pre-set radio stations was a complete pain, because it is not intuitive and I had to follow the instructions step by step. So - the only thing I haven't done is figure out how to set the alarm. I figure this won't be easy, so I'm waiting for an evening that I have time to focus on it.The sound is fine for a tiny clock radio, and much better than trying to listen to my iPhone music. I like listening to music at a low volume to fall asleep with, so this is perfect.I thought since the USB port is part of it, that I would plug my iPhone into it. Although my iPhone was charging when I plugged in the cable from the iPhone to the USB port, it actually used up more battery than it was charging. In other words, the clock radio's USB port is such a slow charger for the iPhone, that my iPhone used up more power being connected with the Bluetooth than it gained power from the USB port. So basically, the USB port is useless. I decided to keep this anyway, since everything else is okay.

Happy with purchase
I've had this four months and have been very happy with it. I like that it doesn't take up much space. The numbers are large so I can read them easily. I plug in different things for charging and it works perfect. I like the night light, which is easy to find, and gives just the right amount of light. I haven't done much else with it so don't know how the other features work.
