Breg T Scope Premier Post-Op Knee Brace

I recently underwent ACL reconstruction. This was the first time really “using” my insurance at my new job and I found out that it only covers 70% of durable medical equipment. My doctor told me I needed this brace and after talking to the medical equipment girls there I found out they bill just over $1,000 to the insurance company meaning I would have to pay $300+. I was just researching the brace prior to surgery and stumbled on this listing. I asked the doctor’s office if I could buy this instead since it looks like the exact same brace and they said I could. The only downside was that if it broke, it wouldn’t be covered and the doctor’s office wouldn’t replace it for free like they would if o bought it through them. I figured I could buy two of these for the price of one at my doctor so I took the risk. It’s in perfect condition and I’ve had no issues with it braking and I’ve worn it 24/7 for the last two weeks.Warning: I would never claim that this brace is “comfortable” but it’s what is needed after surgery and it’s the most affordable option for me and my insurance. It’s not the most uncomfortable thing ever and it kind of just becomes a part of you after wearing it all the time for so many weeks.I’ve used the DonJoy brace when I tore my other ACL years ago and the experience is comparable. Get what your doctor wants and what works for you financially!

Bought this for stress fractures and it takes the weight off the knee. Knee feels much better.
