Was a great shade extension for my center console T top. As a rule I didn’t leave it up while running but did a couple times between quick jumps to a new fishing spot. Boat it’s on a lift behind the house. I typically would leave shade up while sitting on lift. I got home one day and the pole had simply cracked in half and broke off completely!!! No bad storm to blame. Got no idea. We loved it for the 2 months while it lasted.

Pins not provided
The videos shown in the add clearly show quick release pins to take frame apart. The unit comes with a nut and bolt system that obligates you to have a tool on your boat. The quick release pins must be purchased separately. Other than that this top for the price works VERY well!

Cheaply Made. Would not use under way.
Polls are light aluminum and not very strong. Putting this together and taking it down every time you move is a PITA. The angle on ours was bad and the back hung down too low. It was not a good choice for us.

Already tearing after one use
Not well stitched. Already coming apart after one use. Was a big gap between my T-top and this shade when inserted in rod holders, to the point that the shade was mostly over my outboard. I think I can make it better by reversing the mounting, and having it angle the opposite way. But even if that works it won't fix the stitching. Hopefully my wife can reinforce it with the sewing machine.

Outstanding
Works perfect for staying out of the hot sun, so have access to the other 3 rod holders, very nice design and easy to install

Missing cotter pins
Never received the cotter pins to secure the pole

Amazing addition to my boat highly recommend this easy to set up and great quality was cruising at 25mph and it held up great
