Great idea and design!
Overall, I'm very impressed with the design and functionality of the wall safe. Although I wasn't able to install this in my home, (for the time being, since I am renting and don't want to make any permanent changes until I talk to my landlord) I found it to be really useful and clever when experimenting with it. The design of the safe makes it look indistinguishable from the other outlet plates in my home, making it blend in well. The materials and structural design feel very sturdy and durable. Even if someone were to pull this safe out of my wall, I'd at least feel better knowing that the contents of my safe are still intact and hard to remove. The only major drawbacks for me were the small size of the safe which limits what it can hold as well as the fact that the installation seems a little weak, making it easy to remove from the wall if someone were to find it. But overall I think this is a fantastic product. Pros: - Clever, unnoticeable design that blends in with my other outlet plates - Sturdy materials and build - Clear instructions for quick, simple installation - Affordable security solution - Key-entry Cons: - Requires a permanent hole in my wall - It doesn't seem to be very strongly secured to the wall if someone were to find it - Small size, limiting contents to things like jewelry, cash, keys, etc. - Easy for someone to take with them if they did remove it

Very convincing to look at, and possibly even to use
Device is just as expected, and has unusually good and well written instructions on installing it. Double check what you want to put in it because, while the stated measurements are completely accurate, it struck me that it was smaller than I expected it to be when I actually had it in my hands. Once in place it does certainly look the part and I doubt anyone would notice it at all just walking past it. The magnetic attachment of the face plate is strong, but not so strong that anyone who tried to get it off couldn't, so anyone who tried to monkey with it would find it out quickly. That said, the box is actually set up so you could plug something into it and it would take the plug. Obviously there wouldn't be any power, but so long as the plate cover stayed in place people would just think the plug was on a switch or dead, not that it was a safe, which is a nice plus and opens up the opportunity to plug a 'dead' nightlight into it or whatever to have people extra not pay attention to it. Ymmv, but to me this does what it needs to do to work.

Good for hiding things that are not super valuable.
Nice little hidden safe. I knew this when I ordered, it isn't super secure and can easily be pulled out of the wall. I wish it looked more like most outlets. That said I don't think a thief rushing through my house while my alarm is going off is going to notice an outlet that is a bit different and think, "Hey let me pull on it and see if it is a safe." I certainly won't put anything critical in there but it is nice to stash a little cash and a backup code for my email account. Overall it works as advertised. So as long as you are not expecting Fort Knox level security and know it is just to hide away some less valuable items it will work for you. Edit: I went to the hardware store and spent $2 on an outlet and gang plate that matches my other outlets. It works fine and attaches to the safe magnets.

Need to Hide Something Small and Important?
Shipping was quick! Positively, what I was expecting versus what was received are two entirely different things. I was anticipated an outlet box with magnets to hold on a faceplate that you screw into your wall. What I received was a high quality metal box with a lock and key inside under the faceplate. I found it very impressive that the seams are all welded and once installed it actually creates a a very secure enclosure that you can put in your wall and hide something important. Even if someone was to somehow figure out that if they took off the outlet face they might be able to get into the box, but they couldn’t without one of the keys. I’m not handy. Installation was easier than I thought it would be. Inside the box a direction sheet as well as a URL that leads to an installation video that literally walks someone through each and every step. I’m a visual learner, seeing it being installed was so helpful! Apparently a steak knife can cut through drywall. Enclosed hardware/ screws were the right length and everything just fit together as planned. I could tell someone put a lot of thought into the creation of this. Only downside to this is the outlet face didn’t match my outlet faceplates throughout my house. This was not a very big deal at all. The simple remedy was to go to my local home improvement store and purchase one identical to what is in the house. No big deal at all. It was not hard at all how to swap out the faceplate I purchased at the store with what was included in the kit. I love this product and would purchase another if the time arises!

Well camouflaged safe for small items
- Both the product online and in the installation instructions make note of it being, "compatible with 1/2" drywall" or, "best fit" for 1/2" drywall, but never makes any mention to other thicknesses of drywall or stud cavity depth. I would recommend clarifying that it does work with additional sizes as it feels almost like it is only meant for 1/2". This does fit thicker drywall. - I'm not totally comfortable with the mounting design. First, the side wings on the gang box are very shallow and will require the installer to get the size of the hole cut in the wall almost perfectly which is very difficult even for an experienced person. Secondly, mounting screws into the raw end of drywall feels pretty sketchy especially with the small fine thread screws included. There is not much integrity in the raw end of drywall. Considering the narrow cavity of the safe itself, if you put anything into the depth of it, there is going to be some decent force put on the safe when you try to get your hand in there to pull anything out. This will weaken the connection further pretty quickly. I would prefer to see a connection similar to what is used on gang boxes for existing construction that pinches the drywall instead of trying to screw into it. This will be a lot sturdier. - I do like that you can change out the cover plate to be able to match the design of the other outlets in your home so that it is sure to blend in. I would like to see this as an option when selecting your cover plate design. It does not have to be a ton of different options, but at least have the standard style outlet design in addition to the current Decora option. - Recommends to plug something into the outlet to help disguise it even more. The backplate on the cover plate has clips on the grounding rod to help hold a plug in place, BUT..... Most household items I would be plugging into this just to disguise do not have a grounding rod. Trying to plug a 2-prong outlet into this setup and the plug just wants to fall out because there is nothing holding it in. I would like to see something to hold the outlet prongs in place either in addition to or instead of the grounding rod.
