Delicious - it will surprise you
Haggis is often viewed as disgusting by anyone who hasn't tried it, and that reputation is undeserved to the max. This is some dang fine food. The best way to describe it is as a very savory meaty flavor with heavy earthy undertones, as well as heavily spiced, and I mean earthy/aromatic spice, not heat. The meatiness aspect is not gamey, which i know a lot of people would expect it to be, given the ingredients. My mom refuses to eat red meat, even ground beef, yet when I basically forced her to try a single bite, not only did she immediately clean the plate, she went back for seconds, and then went back for thirds. For anyone new trying this, try browning it in a pan with a bit of butter. You'll enjoy it. I've bought and enjoyed this stuff numerous times, and will continue to do so in the future.

Haggis is a cold weather treat
We love it. The taste is rich and pairs well with traditional colcannon and turnip. The quality is excellent and worth every penny.

Good!
After spending 3 weeks in Scotland and eating a ton of haggis, I found myself craving it after we got back to the states. For canned haggis, this stuff is pretty good. It's a tad on the salty side which is why I gave it 4 stars. The spices are spot on. You can taste a hint of the iron from the organ meat but overall it's pretty good.

WAS my favorite
I remember when these cans were around eight dollars each and it has nothing to do with the current tariffs. The price doubled a few years ago and I just figured it was price gouging so I started purchasing haggis made in America. This stuff is pretty good but it’s just not worth what these people charge these days and the shipping is insane. I found a set of six cans that the shipping actually doubled the price total BS

Perfect!
For canned haggis, this is outstanding! The taste and texture are spot-on, and the aftertaste is wonderful due to being perfectly seasoned. I prefer it a bit more peppery like what I had in Dumfries, but that's an easy fix. Overall, this is wonderful. Yes, it's expensive but it's also not something you'd eat every day. Pro Tip: This haggis is amazing in an omelette! Just microwave about 3 tbsp of the haggis (to warm it up) and then add it when the eggs are just about cooked and ready to fold over. Seriously... it's fantastic!!

Good Food
This product seems to be the real deal although I have not been to Scotland to taste the home made Haggis or chef's version of it. I was at first not sure how to use it, then decided it was really a topping to be used on some other base. I use it on Irish potato bread. The product is a little bland so I added garlic and a little salt as it seemed under salted. Garlic is native to Ireland and it goes well with Haggis. I spread about 1/2 inch on the potato bread and microwave it for 20 seconds. A little fresh ground pepper on top and it is delicious! I was surprised how filling it was. Four small pieces of the above and I was full! Don't be put off by the ingredients or how it looks cold in the can. Once heated and supplemented as above, the flavor comes out and it makes a great topping on toast, potato bread or fried eggs.
