Reliable and good range - still the best Sena has to offer
You may want to stick with the proven SENA 20s instead of the newer generation SENA 50SI am the owner of several Sena products, the latest including the SENA 50S(myself and the friend I ride with)First, the SENA 20S(an older SENA product) has better range(by far) than the newer 50S. The 50S is geared towards mesh but has the bluetooth mode needed for talking to a 20S. The 20s simply has better sound quality, range and battery life than the 50S. Plus you can charge and use to 20s at the same time. MESH range 50s is disappointing and not worth using unless you have a large group.I just participated in a large group ride with our BMW club here in Colorado, nobody else joined the MESH, the two of us (friend leading the ride, I was in the sweep position) had to switch back to Bluetooth mode due to the limited range of 50S mesh mode. In Bluetooth mode, which is good for at least 4 users, the 20S outperforms the 50s-sound quality-range-Battery life- not too difficult to replace battery if needed in 2-4 years (available online)If your riding with 4 people or less, the 20S is a better value.

Good sound quality even with earplugs. Works well with iPhone
Just came back from three weeks on the road with this. I bought it primarily so I could hear bluetooth GPS instructions from my iPhone and perhaps intercom for group rides. Never thought I would use it for music. I've been pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the music.+ Clear & easy to hear even through my earplugs. Sound quality is surprisingly good and plenty of volume.+ Bluetooth works very well with my iPhone. I have three different map apps on my iPhone, and all are clearly heard.+ Battery life has been amazing!- Controls can be fussy with gloves on, especially for certain things like FM search, although some basic functions are easy.I have mine installed on a Schuberth C3 PRO. There are install instructions on the web specific to this helmet that are definitely worth finding.

Get the HD speaker upgrade!
Overall this is a very nice system! For my purpose which is mainly to listen to music or take phone calls when i'm riding, this works great! My only complaint was the stock speakers just being to quiet. The upgrade to the HD speakers definitely helps a lot, but doesn't fully resolve the issue as they can either blow out the sound or just not be loud/clear enough as is. Overall though, if you are not looking to purchase one of the brand new models, this is a great option as i've had zero issues with connectivity and the systems in general are very easy to set up in your helmet! The options for different mics are great too! I currently use the boom mic, but in my last helmet I used the smaller wired mic. Both of which I have had zero complaints about. The best part about the mics by far is the fact that when I'm on a call, the person on the other line can hear me more clearly than I can hear myself haha. I would recommend to pair a helmet with good noise deboning or a pair of ear plugs with good passthrough with these and you will have a good experience.

Great for music and navigating, long battery life
Awesome product. Touratech had a video on how to remove the padding so it made installing the speakers and mic a breeze. It’s loud on surface streets but a little muffled at 80 mph. To wake up the unit say, “Hello Sena” Or tap your helmet twice slowly and it will reply with “Say a command”.Default commands are limited. Play stereo check battery, previous song, next song, FM radio. There is a phone button to wake up Siri, same button to answer calls and end calls. So I end up using Siri more. Good battery life, I have ridden for 7 hrs with nav and music playing. I ride alone so no opinion with setting up intercom. Hope this helps with your purchase.

Great product with a lot of features
Great battery life and a lot of features. Honestly it's almost too many features but for two-way communication on the trail or listening to music it has proven to be pretty fantastic. I've written about 7,000 miles in the last 3 months using the Sana and really have only had one issue where I went through rain and it started to short out. I let the unit dry overnight and charged her up again and had no problems thankfully. You can easily ride all day on a single charge listening to music and talking. It came with many different microphones but the one that seems to work the best for me is the sticky back one that you place on the helmet compared to the movable mic boom. That one seemed to catch a lot of wind noise in my helmet as well as my friends. Highly recommend if you want decent sound quality for your music as well as long battery life.

Everything you need.
Great price, fast shipping, works as described, good sound, easy set up and install. I am still figuring out all the features but all the things you need (music, GPS, intercom) are ready as soon as you turn it on. The jog dial is easy to use with gloves on. Most of the people i ride with use a sena.

Best Bluetooth for Your Helmet
I highly recommend the Sena 20S EVO!!Not sure how I rode for so long without it.The best feature is being able to listen to navigation instructions without touching your phone (once you set your destination). You can even listen to music and hear the voice prompts for the navigation. Don't expect bass from the speakers as they are really thin. None the less, sound quality is great for what it is. If you want better sound, better use earphones.I have not used it as a com, but friends tell me it's awesome to be able to talk to your group without using hand gestures or screaming through your helmet.I have tried to use it for phone calls while riding and it seems like my bike is too loud. Too much noise from my end. It's super clear with the bike off.Overall I'm extremely happy with my 20S EVO.Ooh one thing, I wish Sena would simplify the commands. There are a ton of them... Lol
