HDD Hard Drive Caddy Tray with Screws for HP EliteBook 8460P 8460W 8470P 8470W 8560P 8560W 8570P 8570W 8760W 8770w 8760W

Notebook hard drive was new, clean and worked. The price was very fair. I will always look for computer equipment first on amazon.com.

Don’t buy. Doesn’t match the picture. Screws are the wrong diameter for an 8770w. Depth of the tray was not correct. Maybe would work if I stuffed a piece of foam between my ssd and computer and if the screws were the correct length. Didn’t bother returning. Missing metal backing. Looks like half of the bracket was made correctly but holes were drilled on wrong half and the tabs come out on the wrong side. Cheap plastic was also attached on the wrong side. Obviously something that was mass produced to save money but either I got the wrong item or someone didn’t quality check this.

The caddy did fit into my 8470p. That's about as much as I can say for this caddy. It claims to come with HDD screws, but the 4 screws included are NOT HDD screws. They are way too small in diameter. Furthermore, the two screws beside the SATA connector were too large to screw into the PC case. To make this thing work, I had to order a screw assortment and pillage screws from other laptops while I waited for them to arrive. Buy a different brand.

Although the caddy itself does fit nicely into the bay, the caddy screws are not the same size as the HP 8770w screw sockets. Also, the screws included to secure my SSD into the bay are too small.

The product description listed this as being compatible with an EliteBook 8770w. This is not accurate. It also said it came with the spring loaded screws that mount it in the laptop. It did not come with those screws. I could ask to return it,but shipping it back would cost at least the price I paid for it.

The tray is ALMOST the right fit, but the screws on the two tabs are too big and don't line up properly for the HP Elitebook 8560p.

The description says it will fit the HP Elitebook 8760W....... it does not. The two mounting screws closest to the SATA connector have a 90° bend of metal that prevents the hard drive from engaging the SATA connector.

The worst product i have bought. It is a plastic cover . There is no screw with it .so don't buy it.
