Regarding the one star reviews mentioning image degradation and rainbows, I suspect these issues stem from not removing the protective plastic film on both sides of the filter. It’s easy to miss but crucial for optimal performance. Tip: Before use, carefully peel off the thin plastic film on both sides. Check under good light if unsure, to avoid any image issues. It took a bit of trial and error to get the rotation just right for maximum glare reduction, but once I did, the results were impressive. Overall, this filter is a great value and a must-have accessory for any dash cam user looking to improve their video quality. It won’t eliminate all reflections (e.g., from metal or in poor lighting), which might disappoint those with unrealistic expectations.

Item arrived fast with my purchase of a N4 PRO S. I removed both the inner and outer protective films and checked for lint and dust. Simply screwed it on and adjusted it left or right until the rainbow effect was gone. Reflective glare from the windshield is gone. Yet to use it in a sunny day, but time will tell. If the cap doesn't fit one way flip it over and try again. Its made to go over the lens, not inside the lens (I made this mistake). For those who say there's rainbow effects, it's possible due to the fact that if you have a window tint on your windshield it will cause this.... Or there is oil from your skin on the lens cover. So make sure you clean the lens AND the lens cover.

I have two Vantrue dashcams, and both have this circular polarizer. It is effective in reducing reflections of the dashboard, and increases the contrast of your videos on sunny days. This Vantrue polarizer threads onto the lens, just like the filters used on SLR cameras. The quality is comparable to those SLR filters. It fits the lens well, the threads are smooth and accurately cut. Rotating the filter to adjust it is smooth and easy; there is just enough friction to maintain its orientation on the camera.

Works good. Improves video. Should be included with DVR.

I purchased this filter for my dashcam, and it absolutely does what it is supposed to do. It eliminates the suns glare in your dashcam videos and maintains a crisp clear picture. Installation is a simple process of screwing it on, but the threads are very tiny, so be careful. You do have to turn it slightly to get the best glare reduction, but it's a simple process. Is it worth the price? I guess if you want to eliminate the glare then it is, but I think $20 is a little steep for what it is.

My dash cam videos are nice and clear with the addition of this polarizing filter.

Worked really well to cut down on windshield glare on the dashcam. Screwed on easily and adjusted easily. If you have a Vantrue that this would fit I highly recommend getting one.

Product is good. From Sellers point of View, seller is charging white elephant for the product, MRP is 2999/ seller is charging almost double of it.Beware....

The product that I received seems was used previously as the packaging was open. Additionally, it is defective as there is a rainbow color in all videos which always appears if I placed it on my dashcam. But it seems it works by reducing the Reflection to some extend.
