Overall impression of tripod: above average. No damage during shipping. Instead of a spreader, tripod uses leg lock. So far the leg locks have held up. I am loading it with 20x80 binoculars.The tripod has held up with minimal shaking - even when slightly extended. The carrying case is an added bonus. I do recommend this product and will probably buy it again, once it no longer works!

I bought this site unseen for a video shoot, based on the features that my videographer had told me were necessary. It is a quality product and performed well during the shoot. Well designed, well-made, and nicely compact. A good value!

The central bar where it connects with the bottom is wobbling. I can't use it to shoot videos because it's unstable. Bough to replace a lost Manfrotto entry level tripod...this one is not even close.

I'm no professional and realize the truth in you "get what you pay for," but this is a really great tripod for the money. I needed something that was the next step up from the cheaper $20-30 tripods that had a better head, a bigger mounting surface, and would provide a stronger base. I also didn't want to spend $200. This tripod meets my budget expectations, holds my cameras well, and even fits the teleprompter we use. I highly recommend this model.

For a lightweight, normal fluid head tripod this has been very reliable.
