Helpful with hoof sole injury
These are expensive, while nursing equine hoof injury requires durability, easy-to-use products, these fit my needs. I will say, I wrap over to be sure no debris is getting to hoof while healing.

Lost a Horse Shoe?
When my horse would play too hard in pasture with his buddies and pull a shoe, these were easy to apply directly to the hoof to protect it from chipping. Lasted a long time -- for extra protection put some Elastikon tape on it (just not directly on the hoof), to extend the life of the cover until your farrier arrives. I had one last a full 5 days and my farrier was happy the hoof was in good condition.

Amazing and well worth the money.
I love these! No more making duck tape wraps!! I make cuts on them so the overlap on the hoof and stay on great!!

Does not stick well to hoof
Does not stick well to hoof. I used over vet wrap and worked well. More wear resistant than duct tape. Pretty expensive though for amount you get. Would be ok for occasional use but way too costly for long term.

Great Product
No more duck tape! I have been fighting an abscess and laminitis on my 22 yr old gelding and these are a life saver! so much quicker and easier than duck tape. I did find placing a few cuts in the corners makes them adhere better to the hoof, not as much "gapping" . He is still on stall rest but they last!

Overpriced
My local tack shop sells the 12 pack of these retail for $34. I really like these because it's easier than duct tape but the hoof needs to be perfectly clean and dry and you need to put a boot over them or they come off quickly.

Not for turn out
These didn't last on my gelding (with or without shoes) for more than a few minutes during turnout. Not sure it would have worked for use in a stall either. Duct tape worked better for me

So easy to use!
If you have ever had to use duct tape to wrap your horses hooves, you need to try these. I love how easy they are to apply. The stick on wrap is perfect for my horse. They stay on well and are easy to remove. The price is fair when you compare the cost of duct tape. Time saved in application adds value, too.
